Blue Yeti Nano Premium USB Microphone (Shadow Gray)

Don't let the price make you think this is bad. This is a bargain of a microphone. The sound quality, the sensitivity, the range are amazing. It is so good that I'm buying another one for my podcast.

About a year ago, I pick up one of these BlueYeti Nano from JB Hi-Fi. I use it on a daily basis in my WFH setup for Zoom and Teams calls. The build quality is quite solid. The audio quality is good enough and more than sufficient for Teams/Zoom calls (I don't record music or other high fidelity audio). To take full advantage of the mic, you will need to use the Logitech G Hub software > BlueVoice - my favourite is the Broadcaster 2 preset.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first opened it the design is beautiful, it's heavy and seems well made. The stand is sturdy allowing the cable to pass through the microphone can be tilted in the stand and holds its position. I linked it up to Abelton live with no issues, Plug and play found the mic and headphone port which is a handy feature. Changing between cardioid and omidirectional is done by pressing a button which makes it easy and obvious which mode it is in. Cardioid is great for voiceover and while Omidirectional works well for recording a group.

Its a good option compared to the headphones with microphone included, the quality of the sound is way better. The setup was a bit confusing to me, so I had to watch a video how to do the options in the program you need to download and install on your computer. It was very simple tho. Its easy to use, there is a stand you can simply place it on your computer desk and there is also stand adapter. You can use to attach the microphone on a standard long stand. The USB cable provided looks sturdy and long enough. The pattern settings are very useful as you can focus the sound recording to be coming from all around the microphone or focused in one point when you usually talk through it for example. It can be used for broadcasting in the radio for example as the sound quality is excellent. Recording songs at home too. The microphone is small but quite powerful. It's a part of Logitech family. Its the right product for influencers and vloggers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Quick and easy install, the plug and play software worked within minutes after setup a d was ready to begin recording my voice on my streams. The sound is crystal clear so crisp. So far the mic has handled my general voice recording and instrument very well and for gaming no picking up any background sounds. Honestly for the price it really is one of the best in market, no wonder why so many youtubers uses it. Really like the feature of controlling the volume and recording straight from the mic and it has a mute option as well. All round best mic to date for my personal use.

This is for the Blue Yeti Nano. Likes: simple to use. Just plug it in. Connect your headphones to bottom of Nano. Dislikes: The product description is deceptive. It reads as if it is a standard, not the Nano. Read the fine print. needs pop guard and shock mount.
