A friend who has won several BBQ Cook-offs rurned me on to his secret ingredient. I fell in love with this and several other sauces. I haven't tried them all yet. But I certainly will! Great stuff indeed!
I bought this sauce a few weeks ago and am hooked! The best I have tasted that is store bought in a long time.
Have tried all their products. I've never been let down superior product.
Excellent taste used it on a Boston butt for bbq and family loved it
Champions Blend is my go to sauce. I've used the original, Tennessee Red and Raspberry Chipotle for changes of pace, but when serving for a party, the ribs get Champions Blend and everyone loves it. I'll put out 'other' sauces, but this is the one that consistently gets used the most.
Local market had mini bottles of this so I figured it was a great time to try it....I usually use a sauce from a local BBQ place here in Birmingham that I like alot. Well, I now have a favorite 'go-to" sauce. Very impressed with the balance of this sauce. Also, just a drizzle is all you really need to bring out the flavor of your protein and still get the flavor of this outstanding sauce. makes everything come together
I've tasted many bbq sauces and I used to say that was the best bbq sauce. Until I had Blues Hog Champion Blend BBQ Sauce. Blues Hog is the best bbq sauce I've ever tasted. No other bbq sauce brand can't come close. My vote Blues Hog is in a bbq sauce class by itself. My honest opinion. Thanks!
I don't like to speak in definitive terms, but this Blues Hog stuff is life altering. I have tried Sweet baby rays, Stubbs, Bone sucking and a litany of other bbq products. I have found the holy grail with Blues Hog. I use it 2...3 times a week when I cook supper! The dry rub is the absolute bomb!
I bought the champions blend sugar free a couple weeks ago and thought that it was terrific. After a couple of uses, I looked at the ingredients which said 20g of carbs, but no sugar. Seemed odd. But if you look at the ingredients there is sugar in the Worcester sauce they use, quite deceptive advertising. Probably some legal reason that they can say “sugar free “ but still have some sugar.
Ever since, they changed the label on the bottle it doesn't taste the same at all. They had to change the recipe for it to taste so different. The old label taste better.
