The bluetooth 5.1 OBD2 I think works great for the price. If you have a check engine light on I would recommend this item!!!!

I guess the prices have come down on these bluetooth code readers because this one represents the very best deal I've come across in years. This scanner connects to your phone without cables (which used to be a rarity) yet gives you all the pertinent information that your app can transmit. As far as apps, I use the "Car Scanner" app which provides a versatile interface between your car and your phone. The "Car scanner Pro" app allows you to view more PID's simultaneously and will set you back about 5 bucks. I have also used the 'Torque' app in conjunction with these scanners and it also works well. Using the app and this scanner will allow you to diagnose the basic OBD2 codes as well as clear the codes once you've eliminated the trouble that set the code in the first place. I consider this little miniature scanner my first line of defense for car repair and many times this is the only tool I need. Easily fits in the glove compartment. Very good value for a good tool.

the item is difficult to pair via Bluetooth. instructions are non existent. unless you subscribe to their services you'll see pop up ads Everytime you attempt to use any feature. they ask for a credit card for registration and say it won't be charged but mine was and I got a fraud alert from my bank.

I received an ELM 327 version 2.1; it was not a version 1.5 as indicated. Version 2.1 will not work with a Nissan Leaf's obd2 connector and Leaf Spy software (app).

This code reader does not work it will not connect bluetooth as it is supposed to. I don't seem to be able to contact any customer service even to return it. Don't waste your money on this paperweight , its' not even good for that. The customer service does not even return requests for help. If I could give it 0 stars, I would have.

WARNING JUNK!!!! The setup website it has on its QR code is a virus download!!! DO NOT go to the website in the picture COS8000.com. Destroyed my iPhone 13pro max!!! Now I have to replace a $1200 dollar phone

would not connect with my 2004 tahoes computer system after several tries and using several different software applications. my normal OBD2 scan tool connects just fine but this Bluetooth device is basically garbage.
