B&M Brown Bread Raisin, Shelf-Stable, 16 oz Can

Growing up B%26M Raisin Brown Bread was a staple in our kitchen. It was a convenient treat and or snack. Great with cream cheese and a sprinkle of crushed walnuts ,or pecans and a drizzle of honey kicked it up a notch for a quick breakfast. It is shelf stable until you need it and easy to open, slice and enjoy plain or with toppings of your choice. Many people serve it with B%26M Baked Beans as a complimentary side that goes hand in hand together.

Im 75 years old. My mom used to get this bread for us when I was a child. I loved it then, and I didn't even know it was still made. I came across it accidentally while i was scrolling through groceries on the Walmart website. I ordered 2 cans, not knowing if I'd even still like it. I loved it so much I went onto the Walmart website and ordered the 12 can case of this B%26M Brown Bread. The price for 12 cans is very reasonable. I love that its shelf stable and can be stored indefinitely. I love it with whipped cream cheese on it for breakfast with my coffee. Walmart, please continue to provide this brown bread.

Every Saturday night my grandmother in Massachusetts would serve this delicious bread warm and real butter, along with B%26M baked beans and hot dogs. I'm happy to enjoy the bread again. The cans arrived packed with care and quickly. Would definitely order again!

I'm 75 years old and i havent had this brown bread in a can since I was a child. I grew up loving this bread but it's hard to find in Texas. My cans of bread were delivered on time. I had a slice of this bread this morning with my coffee. Man, what memories! I was so anxious to try it that I didn't even heat it or add butter or cream cheese. It doesn't have many raisins as I remember but the taste is the same. Molasses and rye and so good! The ingredients are so much better than a sweet roll or coffee cake and it's even better with my coffee. I'll be a return customer for this brown bread in a can.

You'll never believe the taste of this great, always ready, brown bread. My neighbor first turned me onto it and it's a great addition to my pantry. From the first bite of this remarkable food, I tasted molasses and had to know the ingredients immediately. All healthy and flavorful ingredients makes this a prime food when you need a quick snack or for breakfast with a flavored or not cream cheese. I highly recommend it. Just give it a try and you won't be sorry.

This B%26M brown bread, raisin is good. Not the Dromedary date nut roll I have fond memories of as a kid, but still a good product. It' as close as you can get, now. Warning: expect a strong molasses taste. Great with butter on top and coffee. Would do well with cream cheese, too. FYI, I put the can in the fridge, getting it cold. Open both ends of the can. Run a case knife around the edges top and bottom. I use a ladle to push it out of the can. Being cold makes it easier. If you want a change of pace, tired of the usual, this is a good product. I will purchase it again.

The product is delicious, it was today's delivery that I was disappointed with. I ask that my order be delivered at my Front door, but instead this was left in front of the overhead garage door, where I don't have access to get into the house. This was a heavy package for me to carry into the house from around the corner outside. This house is on the corner of Hailey's Mnr and Alden's Oak, and the Dark Green Front Door is on Alden's Oak. This isn't the only time my packages have been delivered in front of the Garage door, but it was time for me to vent to Walmart about it. Thank you.

I grew up eating this bread and had Publix order it for my family. This brown bed taste is different. I toasted a few pieces and my family all said the flavor is not as good as it use to be. It has a stronger molasses flavor and there was a slightly sweet bread flavor, but not this one that I purchased recently.

Love the bread, but would not order again. Walmart does not carry it in their stores so I ordered it on line. Six of the eight cans were dented. To get the bread out you remove the ends and slide it out. With dented cans it won't slide out without ripping apart the bread.

This is the second time I have ordered this product. All 3 cans came in a box with no packaging. Cans are full of big dents. Thought this was a great idea for my Hurricane supplies but because of the condition of the cans, I'm not too sure of long-term storage.
