I've been using a manual timer for almost 25 years and finally decided to upgrade to a digital one. This is a great time with some good features. It is very easy to setup and use for all the features except one. The instructions are super confusing to understand for the override feature - meaning how to turn it on when it's supposed to be off or how to turn it off when it's supposed to be on. They could do a better job writing that part of the instructions. I could see why people would think it was difficult to use or that it didn't work correctly.

The last one I bought lasted 5 years under extreme load and temp conditions. I have another that is still working. These are tough and they are programmable.

Easy to program, followed the instructions the first time. Display is easy to read. Keeps times set for multiple settings. Have about 5 or 6 of these 7 Day multiple settings timers now in different room. They will also be great for Christmas tree lights settings indoors for us. We use them indoors, with the daylight ending early, set them for morning to see, and set them for evening times, or for a basement room that gets dark. They are a little bit large in size, but since they work so great, at a good price that is what counts for us.

It's not difficult to set up, but there is a learning curve to figure it out. Otherwise, works as advertised. Battery backup is good to have to keep lights coming on at same time if the power goes out

So far I have used it twice, and it works as expected. Once you learn the programming interface, it's actually quite easy to use. I just wish it were less bulky, and that the plugs were not so tight (though some lock lubricant will probably help that).

Used this timer to run a UV light to automatically charge those glow in the dark star stickers for kid's rooms as a crimmus present. I set it to turn the light on every night from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm and it works perfectly. Those suckers glow deep into the night. The timer however is very bulky outlet hog and fairly complex to set up, relying on old time methods of using multi function buttons for navigation and selecting stuff instead of something modern with a clear user interface like a bluetooth app, and both outlets on each side are controlled by the same program, so you can't set one thing to turn at one this time and another thing to be set to another time. Other than that, once you got it set up, it does its job exactly as it says it does. So it's a good product. Just very outdated.

very very hard to program even when you program it right it would not turn off when it's supposed to I tried and tried every different time finally gave up and returned it but the absolutely can make something more simple to program that's for sure

Directions confusing ; programming not intuitive. Will only use as backup. Went to HD and bought several that are super intuitive to use. DO NOT RECOMMEND
