Easy to set up easy to figure out without looking at the instructions, it was so easy. It was literally a no-brainer to figure out how easy it was to use. Purchased for an indoor mini banana tree. Easy to install. Claps on the side of the large planter easily. Arms are flexible as described. You can provide light to numerous plants by moving the arms. The switch is on the cord again easy to use. I did have to use an electrical cord because the attach cord is short. Highly Recommend

It definitely does not give off the purple light shown in the picture. Each arm has alternating red and blue lights which can be turned on as all one color or both colors together but it does not show as purple. Hopefully it will keep my veggies and herbs alive all winter.

when i open the main box the box for the light was open inside and the adapter that was there was not the correct one it looks like someone had switched the adapters and forgot to close the box i had to run around my house to find a spare to even make sure the light it self worked all because the adapter was Switched out

well it's was a while lot smaller than I thought, I should have read the specifications better. it's about 2 1/2 feet is all. all the directions are in a foreign language so I can't understand them. Not what I was expecting at all. I put it next to a yardstick so you can see how big it is.

the wires are different lengths leading into the control unit so it's a little funny looking and kind of an aesthetic issue personally. But the plug block adapter it came with is seemingly cheapy bc it started getting very hot within 5mins and was buzzing and started burning. It really doesn't seem rated correctly for the unit, even at low power. Also not a huge fan of the clip; it's not very strong but it also has padding, which is somewhat nice but I can't hang it on my ceiling without having to rig it and make sure it's overly secured. The dimming is not well controlled either. Its not like a "set it here" it's more like a volume button that circles around from 100 to 1 and then back around again. I thought the control unit was like a remote control. and the cord is not very long at all

Timer is horribly inaccurate. I tried setting this on the 12hr timer with my other lights and the timing is way off. It keeps turning on earlier and earlier.

The USB end got so hot it burned my finger. And the black transformers were getting so hot it started melting the plastic in the middle of the boxes. This is a fire hazard. We have four of these and they all did the same thing and one quit working al together. Someone else reported having a problem like this too.. Obviously, all the ones that have been purchase by others haven't done that, but something needs to be fixed so there is no fire hazard ever..

this item was returned to seller. it pulls a lot of power but is made very cheaply and gets HOT. I just wanted to grow indoor plants, not burn down my house. I'm a gardener who loves foliage.

The instructions aren’t even in English. I have a similar one and this particular product does have the full spectrum lights like it shows. The cord is rather short. I’ll be returning this one
