It does not move a lot of air or generate a lot of heat, but it is enough. It works fine and the flexible hoses allow it to work for a range of shoes, boots or even gloves.

I purchased this for my husband %26 it is perfect for his boots as well as his regular shoes. Machine is very quiet %26 I love that I can set the timer %26 go. They're always dry within 1 cycle. I even warm his boots up in the morning before he heads out to work when it's freezing temperatures outside. Highly Recommend.

I bought this item on clearance, so it was very economical. Seems to work as it should. Dries my gloves, I have not tried it for boots yet.

When I saw it I thought it would not work but once we started using it we were really happy with it.

I'm sitting in the living room when I get of whiff of something that's died. I rush to the kitchen and start cleaning but am mystified because there is no odor there. Kitchen spotless, I go back to the living room and I swear something has died there. Finally, I realize it is my steel-toed boots! OMG! Hydrogen Peroxide to the rescue! I ordered the boot dryer, it shows up almost immediately! Shockingly quick! What? Did the neighbors complain and preorder it for me? That was how fast it was. Anyway, I now dry my boots on a regular basis and I am no longer haunted by that odor.

it's cheap and the tubes you place your shoes on is an accordion type of tube so it doesn't stand straight, it flops over and your shoes fall off of it. As far as smell, I wouldn't know because my shoes and slippers wouldn't stay on it the tubes would slouch over a my shoes would fall off. My shoes, not boots, regular shoes and basically no weight slippers would not stay on this thing, glad I got it on clearance and I can see why, waste of money. thought it was a good deal 🤬

Key parts missing,useless without them

This unit is way too small %26 light for boots. Might be ok for gloves %26 shoes, but not boots.
