I have to admit I am a macaroni and cheese not I used to always make it by hand and I was like oh nobody can make it better than I do. This was substituted once so I tried it. It is excellent. It’s different than mine, but it is really good. I would recommend it highly over any other package product.
This tastes good enough as long as you prepare it in the oven. I put in the oven at 350 for about 15-18 minutes, during the last 5 minutes I sprinkled a fair amount of panko breading into it and on top, so the whole thing thing came out slightly crispy and more like homemade. If you like it especially cheesy you can melt in an extra slice of cheese in the microwave before putting it in the oven but I didn't find that necessary myself.
I'm really picky about my mac and cheese, so after trying a couple of brands, I was pretty skeptical about this one. I'm glad I tried it. Nice taste, creamy, not too thick or dry. I definitely keep this in my fridge, for the nights I just don't feel like cooking.
We love this Bob Evans macaroni and cheese. It tastes great, and is way too easy to prepare. Sometimes I will scoop some into little ramekins, top with more shredded cheese and put it in the oven with whatever else I'm baking. 20-30 minutes and it's just like homemade, so your guests think you really spent a lot of time on it LOL. The microwave results are just as good though. I also buy Bob Evans Mashed Potatoes and love them too. Guess we're a Bob Evans family!
Bob Evans macaroni and cheese is the best deal of the century! It is so delicious! I make it in the microwave for an easy dinner and it fills me up and I am a big man! Please try this great macaroni and cheese and you'll be very happy you did. Very highly recommended!!
All BOB EVANS prepared foods are very good. Mac %26 Cheese is so simple I sometimes think it's lacking attention but NOT Bob Evans!! I add to it if I'm wanting meat. My fave is tuna creations. Add it in when M%26C directions say to stir and finish the heating.
I bought the Bob Evans Mac %26 Cheese which was good. I saw there were Bob Evans Mash Potatoes too. So, I bought them too expecting them to be of similar quality but THEY WERE NOT EDIBLE at all. The was some blackish/Brownish substance in there and based on my vast experience with mashed spuds...I know that's not what they should look like and I deferred not to try tasting it. I fall under the doctrine if it doesn't look like it suppose to, tasting isn't going to happen. The reason I didn't put this under the B.E. Spuds is because they did NOT ask me to review them. SO, here we are...Thanks for reading this and good day!
I like the zap in microwave mac %26 cheese meals. This particular one is a better price, with a good flavor. When I prepare mine I add a little milk and stir about 2 minutes before its finished, to me it makes a big difference. I usually eat it all by itself, but occasionally I split it into 2 servings and pair it with some holiday leftovers or leftover fried chicken from Popeyes.
I have purchased this often and it is not consistently mixed or the same each time. The last purchase was awful, gummy and did not look right or good. I had cooked it and did not eat any of it. My husband requests that I buy this almost weekly and he also said it did not look right. I will not buy it again. I reached out to Walmart and was told to return it to the store and I did not. We ordered for home delivery so we do not have to drive miles to the store and also hate shopping in the store. I do not know what had gone wrong with this tray but it was just disgusting.
This has always been a Favorite to my grandkids and I the last one we got was mush. The macaroni had been boiled to squishiness. It still had that taste so the kids hate it anyway. I was very disappointed with this last batch. It’s almost like it got mixed in with their mashed potatoes
