WOW, this is the stroller of all strollers to have. From the ease of putting it together to the ease of pushing it while jogging on trails I have been highly impressed. My baby girl loves and the shocks on it are an amazing added detail that every stroller needs to have. Overall very pleased with my purchase only downfall is all the money I wasted over the years on strollers that aren’t anywhere near comparable to this bad boy
This is our second all terrain/jogging stroller. We absolutely love it. The quality is strong. The canopy is HUGE. The snack tray accessory is a must (love that you can pop the snack and cup holders out for washing). The snack tray easily moves out of the way to load/unload kid. The fold is really easy and I like that it stands on its own. It is heavy and big but we wanted BIG so it will last for years and the weight does not bother me at all.
I'm so excited to start using my B.O.B. stroller! This stroller is high quality and difficult to find on sale. Walmart had the most affordable prices for this high quality item!
We received this at our baby shower and our little girl just turned one. The only maintenance I’ve had to do is put a little air in the tires when the weather got cold. When she was a newborn and even now at the 96th percentile for height this stroller has fit her at every stage. I cannot even tell you how many miles we have put on this feels like 150,000. But it has served us well and still looks brand new. One thing I like is that the shade canopy can’t be put up a bunch of different ways to keep her in the shade But still have airflow. I also like how safe the harnesses but watch babies fingers when you click it because it is strong and could be a pinch hazard if a parent is not watching out. That said I do not think any single thing should be taken about this, except the height of the tray apparently is way too high based on reviews. But I don’t have the tray so I wouldn’t know. Anyways, I am 511 and my husband is 6 foot four and we both love the potential height of the adjustable handle as well. We have beat the crap out of this over this past year, almost daily!! like not taking care of it at all just throwing the baby in and going and like I said it still looks brand new. We’ve hardly even wiped it down.
We absolutely LOVE this stroller. We definitely haven't had any of the issues the 1* reviewers left. No bent wheels, hold air just fine, folds great, super smooth ride. My 2 year old is 38" tall and 35lbs and he has loads of room to grow. Sleeps great in it when we need a stroller nap. The only disappointment is they claimed they were going to release a snack tray and that still hasn't happened yet.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the BOB Gear Alterrain Pro Jogging Stroller to test as a member of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and couldn’t be happier with it! In years past I had a different brand jogging stroller and by comparison this one was much more roomie for my little one! a bit bigger in size overall but that didn’t effect performance - jogs super smooth and lots of room for the little one and all the extras. i really like that this stroller has two inside pockets for him - he can have his snack in one side and his water on the other and i don’t have to hand him things! additionally I love the one-handed easy fold and how simple it was to put together. (although i do wish they put some unpackaging instructions with it - i was a little clueless where to start and couldn’t find the manual at first!). The safety features are great as well including the easy to use front wheel lock. Overall this is an awesome stroller, if you are considering it, go for it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I always told myself, we don’t need a jogging stroller. We don’t jog THAT much. However, after receiving a new BOB Gear Alterrain Pro Jogging Stroller as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, I can now see all the advantages of having one, especially this one! Once we made it through the assembly process, which took about 15 minutes, we were ready to go. The very large, reflective, wheels would be perfect for the everyday stroll through the neighborhood as well as a face paced run through the park, no matter the terrain. The suspension system and padded seat keeps our little one nice and comfortable. So comfortable that we can get longer sessions in without so much as a peep from the little one. Plus the little kid pockets inside the seat area provides a great place to store a snack and a drink. We haven’t had to use it yet, but the hand brake is conveniently located right at the adjustable handle bars. However, someone with larger hands may need to adjust their grip position so they don’t get caught up in the brake line or brake line assembly. It would have be awesome to see that hardware and brake line integrated into the frame somehow. Overall we are very satisfied with stroller and so glad we have one.
I've had my BOB Alterrain for three months. It has great storage and is effortless to push while running. That said, the hand brake feels low quality, and the suspension has been squeaky—disappointing for a brand known for durability. Overall, it gets the job done, but I expected better.
The hand brake is poor design. It does not work right m; it’s too hard
We went from a second hand 10+ year old BoB Revolution to this new “flagship” model. I was expecting a vast improvement with a decade of development between the models, but was greatly disappointed. The quality was severely lacking in comparison to our old and worn out stroller. After one walk we returned it and went with the new revolution. Let’s start with the good: It’s heavy and that makes this thing very stable in a straight line and in turns. It has creature comfort improvements such as nice padding in the seat area, a large canopy, a magnetic view cover, one handed recline, and an adjustable handle. All of these are also present on the revolution 3.0. The Bad and downright Ugly: Brakes. Yes, the entire selling point of this stroller for me was the biggest let down. First of all, they ditched a working aluminum lever for a cheap plastic lever that came from the factory with a cross threaded and disbonded barrel adjuster. The cable routing is where things really get bad. They use an oddly placed junction box to split it into two cables and it makes the difference in cable drag from one side to the other a nightmare. After an hour of fiddling with individual brake adjustments the best I could get was a right brake that grabs first and then a left that quickly locks up while the right side is still barely engaged. That makes it unpredictable and it constantly pulls a turn when you use the brake. Hold on to your child, this thing is dangerous going downhill! The parking brake works fine, but is difficult to engage. The improved, longer travel suspension is merely squeaky springs inside those shiny “shocks”. It’s less plush than the Revolution and lacks the adjustment for big kids. The weight is a lot and it’s noticeable. It’s far more nose heavy and unbalanced than the revolution. This makes it difficult to lighted the front end and make turns with the nose wheel locked. The “XL” storage area barely fits our diaper bag whereas it fits easily in the revolution. The fabric is also very light and feels as if it would be easily torn. I didn’t even attempt to zip up the zipper that appears to be the most dainty and fragile zipper I’ve ever seen. This is a major step back for BOB. In the end, we went with the Revolution 3.0. I was also astonished to see many cost saving measures that make it of lesser quality than the classic Revolution before Britax bought BoB. Many metal parts are now plastic and most of the metal stamped pieces are made cheaper without lightening holes. The new model is heavier and much of that may be due to the increased creature comforts. I would like to see the quality of the old Bob on the revolution with a working brake system.
