Bobby "The Brain" Heenan (Full Frame)

Hands down bobby is the best mgr in his era. And even going back to his commentating days you can't deny he was genius. He said things back then that wouldn't air today because they were so controversial. And his witty comments were genius. This dvd will give you a great recap of his carrier. Don't expect great wrestling though as he was best know for his out side the ring antics.

I typically do NOT purchase wrestling DVD's, but I just had to have this one since Bobby Heenan was the greatest manager/broadcaster/entertainer the wrestling business has ever seen. With that, I am a bit disappointed with this DVD. The WWE production people certainly did not put a lot of effort into the making of this DVD. DVD 1 about Bobby's life was the best, but it should have been longer -- it felt too rushed. DVD 2 was horrible. It featured "classic matches" that Bobby was involved in as a wrestler, including 2 "weasel suit matches" that were basically identical. They also included the ENTIRE 1992 Royal Rumble match in which Ric Flair won the WWF title (why? Not a classic Heenan moment). Overall, I would recommend this DVD, but don't have high expectations, as you will be somewhat disappointed.

I had high hopes for this DVD. Disc 1 delivered the "meat" of the set. Many interviews with past and present WWE superstars talking about Bobby Heenan experiences. Disc 2 is only going to be enjoyed by "old school" wrestling fans that remember "Wrasslin" 80's. Overall a good product.
