Bob's Red Mill 5 Grain Hot Cereal, 16 oz

The reason why Bob's Red Mill 5 Grain cereal has 5 stars is because it is delicious with a fantastic texture. There is no other cereal that can compare to this. The preparation is easy and smells wonderful while it is cooking in the morning. I just add fruit .....no need for sugar or any other sweetness because the grains have such great depth of taste, but to each his own. I prefer Bob's Red Mill cereal and products because they do not fortify them with iron. Individuals with "iron overload" (and there are many) cannot risk their health by eating the many cereals that are ridiculously fortified with iron.

I eat Bob's organic oatmeal every night and sometimes I mix a little of this in. I also eat it plain as it makes a hearty breakfast that keeps me full. It is very healthy, my only wish is that they would make an organic version. Bob's is a very clean product in general and they also are a great company.

Perfect morning cereal for those looking for whole grain, non-sweetened, no-oatmeal breakfast. Oatmeal is bad for those with restless leg syndrome, and healthy cereals are hard to find without it -- Bob's Red Mill has several, and this is one of the most tasty ones. Highly recommend, and delivery is so easy through iHerb -- and so fast! It couldn't be better!!

I have been eating this hot cereal for quite a few years now. It's easy to make and very tasty. It keeps me full until lunch without issue. I like the larger package size as I do eat this almost every morning. My husband is a diabetic, so we make the cereal with erythritol and a couple tablespoons of chopped pecans so it doesn't spike his blood sugar. The quality of Bob's Red Mill items are always on par and I don't think I've ever had a bad thing they make. Do yourself a favour and try this cereal. It's far better than just plain oats and has the added benefit of flax meal. It makes overnight oats that much more tasty.

I've always liked this hot cereal the best. It's hearty and has a variety of flavours and in this way, it's a lot like their 10-grain but I already get lots of soy and corn elsewhere so this is a great balance. It cooks quickly and the grains do not become mushy. When I don't have time to cook groats, this is the perfect next best thing and it's so much easier to make.

I love this cereal - no dried fruit. It's simply the best, hot or cold!

Very easy to cook, the taste is an old fashioned very natural taste and once and for all.......NO SUGAR!

just enough grain to be health

Each of the hot cereals tastes different, with different grains that you can taste. The 7 grain mix is one of my favorites. It's for a nice texture along with different flavors so it's not like eating the usual hot cereal mush.

It's more nutritional then the plain oatmeal and have a taste which better to eat salty.healthy easy on cooking and makes me feel full longer then oatmeal
