Bob's Red Mill Oat Bran Hot Cereal, Gluten Free, 1 lb (454 g)

After searching the web for the best price, I purchased this oat bran from Walmart. It was delivered very quickly and arrived safely. I add this to my regular oatmeal to increase the fiber and nutrition content. It has a totally different texture than regular quick cook oatmeal and is a little smaller than steel cut oats. If you'd like to give your regular oatmeal a boost, give this a try.

Good consistent oat bran. No junk added, no sugar, and no to few hulls or foreign material. Just good oat bran. Purchased 100+ bags. All good

We like Bob's Mill in everything we have tried. My husband is gluten free and we can count on Bob's Mill to be most like original. The flour is the best! We had to order oat bran because we couldn't find it in any stores around here. Keep up the gluten free!

Maintaining a gluten-free diet isn't always easy, but I love the flavor of this oat bran cereal, and I can use it as a substitute in a lot of recipes that call for flour or oatmeal. It makes a really delicious coating for my baked chicken, and I am expecting good things in my Apple Crumble recipe.

So grateful to find GF products. That said, I can't say a whole lot about the oat bran. It's oat bran that I don't eat plain so not even sure how it tastes. It's part of my wonderful granola recipe and it truly is quite tasty granola that I could easily scarf down breakfast, lunch, & dinner. I appreciate a healthy oat bran to put in it. And the granola includes Bob's Red Mill GF organic oats. All good and healthy. My thanks to Bob's Red Mill for their products.

After reading other reviews, I decided to try this oat bran. With winter setting in, I was looking for a good hot cereal. This product is very tasty! I love putting in dried fruit and nuts to make a wholesome breakfast. It will be nice to try different variations of additions to have a wonderful hot breakfast.

Great taste. I used recommended amount of water, but was still to thick for me. I will use more water next time. It is very much like "Cream of Wheat" in consistency. I soaked mine overnight and heated in AM - which may have also made a difference in water absorption. I have used it in my Oatmeal cookies as part of the Oatmeal. Very nice. I will buy it again.

I didn't get to use it as the bag was open and the contents were spilled in the box and a good portion of it ended up on the floor.
