I grind about a teaspoon into my morning smoothie. It gives more substance and adds a mellow flavor. Occasionally, I add it to my bread flour for variation. It works very well for that also.

I have used this for making a charcoal poultice, and it has worked out very well! I was able to make a film-like emulsion which allowed the charcoal to be evenly distributed as a patch of sorts. Worked far better than I had expected. Thank you very much!

I have tried this organic golden, the regular golden, and the brown. The golden is my absolute favorite. I find the brown to be a bit denser, and I like that the golden "disappears". I eat it every morning in my oatmeal and once it's cooked, I do not taste or see it. It blends in. The brown did not and was denser. I will always buy the golden.

Very fast delivery, and item was extremely well packaged. The items were in excellent condition and had a very good expiration date, far superior to what I find in the supermarkets. I will not hesitate in buying direct in future. Highly recommend. The flaxseed is fresh and perfect for grinding fresh each day, love the flavor, and use it daily.

Great flaxseed! I use it to make bread and it's the best. I also love many of the other Bob's Red Mill products. The 10 Grain and 8 Grain Cereal is off the charts fabulous. If I find myself in need of flours, grains or cereals I always look for Bob's Red Mill products because I know I can trust them.

I didn't know that you get no benefits from whole flaxseed, I don't have a spice mill or coffee grinder so trying to crush these to make them in a mortar and pestle is very. very hard. I wish I'd known before I spent money on these looking for health benefits. I opened them so I'm sure I can't return them, so it was a total waste of money.

I purchased Bob Mill's Flaxseed b/c of the brand. I trusted them, but not anymore. Please check out ConsumerLab's test results showing this product to contain high amounts of cadmium. Sad and disappointed that this company does not do their own testing to ensure safe products for their customers. Will not be supporting them going forward. The Spectrum brand tested low.
