Makes proper porridge. Soak the oats first and salt it properly. Cook over a low heat, stirring occasionally. Also great toasted. Dry fry then sprinkle over other foods.
Rather than using quick-oats or old-fashioned-oats, the texture of this oatmeal leads to a more authentic Scottish Oatmeal Bread
Great taste and packaging
The items were fairly priced, they were delivered quickly with good communication from Walmart
This style of oatmeal is outstanding. Cooks very well and is very good.
This is my favorite oatmeal ever! The texture is out of this world. Want some incredible oatmeal? - One part Scottish oats to 3 parts liquid (I split my liquid into 1 part whole milk and 2 parts heavy whipping cream), add cinnamon to taste, cook until desired thickness (constantly stirring), and top with dark brown sugar to desired sweetness. Then sit back and melt into scottish oatmeal heaven. You won't regret it. Ah-mazing!
Not much flavor. Recipe calls for too much water and overflows bowl in microwave. Still working on measurements and cooking time.
I had bought this Scottish oatmeal before from.another store and it tasted good and stayed fresh for many weeks in my cupboard. This last one that I thought was from Walmart was actually from another company called iHerb. My first oatmeal porridge was ok but within a few days after opening the bag the oatmeal tasted and smelled rancid. It was inedible. I am very disappointed with iHerb
Really bad product, doesn't disolve in water, after cook still dry in the both of the plate if you microwave and never gets tender, even in small amount. Doesn't taste like oatmeal, doesn't look like oatmeal, feel like I am eating patched roof.
I ORDERED GLUTEN FREE OATMEAL RECEIVED CORN FLOUR WITH A CHARGE OF OVER 10.00 I AM NOT HAPPY
