BODUM Electric Milk Frother

It's works pretty good. The only complaint I have is that the lid doesn't seal properly while foaming the milk. It keeps wanting to open on one side so I have to place my hand on top it. Otherwise it does the job. My grandson say once the milk is foam it tastes like marshmallows.

So In our house we really enjoy hot beverages such as coffee and hot cocoa. So I thought this would be a nice addition to our collection. At first I had a little trouble with this particular device because it needed to be sitting on the stand at a specific location to work properly, but then as I got the hang of it, it has been an item I use daily for our family. I also bought the two year protection plan and I clean it daily with dish soap the spinner in the center is easy to remove and wash as well. I believe you will enjoy it.

This little gadget looks chic and fits easily on my counter top. The thermostat works as described and cycles on/off to keep the liquid hot. The con is that the spring is not as easy to remove if you just want to warm milk without frothing it. It's kind of bothersome like removing and replacing a key on the key ring when you have to pry the ring open to slip the key on and off, only it's a spring. I think it's great that it can also froth almond milk very well if you are looking to save calories or don't consume animal byproducts. I also like that the instructions are on the outside of the box just in case you lose the manual.

The reason why I gave it 3 stars is that it requires cleaning after every use, the heater element is concentrated in one small area and it normally burns the milk. In my case I drink 3 cups of coffee and I had to wash the unit after every single use. Bodum, you can do better!!!

Yes, I was very disappointed. I thought the froth would be so nice and rich and creamy. Unfortunately, there were a few bubbles on top but most of it was still in a hot liquid form. I appreciate that it was hot for sure, but using half-and-half with a little bit of heavy cream, I thought would produce a much better froth. I'm returning it although it's very possible that it's not able to handle heavy cream. So it might be fine if you're using just straight milk. Also the cord at the bottom was off it's placement for the little notch, so it sat crooked on my counter.

The design is lousy. The cord doesn't allow the charging unit to sit level unless the unit is on it . It shuts off but doesn't turn off. So when you wash it , put back on and then it immediately starts to run .

I purchased the equivalent of this frother (same brand) from target in 2020 and determined that it was time for a replacement because the whisk had gone out. This one is way cuter and maybe $5 less so merry early Christmas I thought… It's going back This thing has only worked maybe three times since I took it out of the box. I don't know if it's the whisk or the motor or what but it doesn't work. The three times that it did; the top wouldn't stay on while it frothed. The other one was sooooo good for so long that I am devastated by this.

It only worked once and the foam wasn't right then either. I gave it the benefit of the doubt and tried it 2 more times. It made no foam period. I returned it.

Never got the product despite it said that was delivered Either the deliver driver kept it or was lost in the process. Terrible experience with customer care

It worked perfectly the first day, making beautiful foam. But it only heated the milk the second day. Trouble shooting with enclosed directions did nothing. It still only heated the milk, despite the fact that the liquid spun as usual.
