I’ve had a knot in my back, low shoulder for sometime; used a tennis ball against the wall, but this can go deeper. Use gentle pressure, gradual. LOVE IT. There are cheaper ones, but this is very sturdy. Would buy again.

Exactly what I was looking for and a type of tool that was suggested by physical therapy. Works great on removing "knots" from muscles. Especially by yourself without having to pay for a massage.

This is a game changer. Single? Partner won't rub your back? This is enough to solve that problem. Absolutely amazing. Every massage therapist says my neck, back and hamstrings are extremely tight. I like that it helps to reach places that I simply can't reach, it does make a difference. What I don't like is that they don't tell you to be careful how hard you push with it, if they do then I missed it. I was having an extremely painful fibromyalgia flare up when I used it for the first time and desperate for relief. I pushed to hard in several places ending up bruising myself. I blame myself but if they don't warn about pushing to hard then they should. Some of the knobs seem kind of pointless and the price is too high. If I had used one before I bought one I would have purchased one of the less expensive ones.

I had a previous device like this that was made with a metal S and two wooden knobs, one on each end. That one seemed to be higher quality and gave me better point massage on my back. I didn't bring it on this trip, and I had some tight spots on my back so I ordered this. This one is made out of molded plastic. There's a seam that runs the entire length of the thing all around. That seam is not comfortable. It sticks out and is fairly sharp. I used a nail file to try to file it down at the tips of the knobs. Even with that, I feel the knobs are too small and sharp. The other one had slightly larger, perfectly spherical knobs, which I prefer. There are a lot of knobs on this thing. I can't figure out what they all do. Nevertheless, it's better than nothing.
