I bought this brush to replace a loofah for showering. The brush does scrub fairly well. My only concern is the amount of shower gel I had to use to get clean. This brush does not lather well so I had to keep squirting gel onto it during my shower. Used in conjunction with another bathing option (loofah, wash cloth etc) this would be great but used solo, it definitely is not as effective for bathing or showering. The bristles are soft but firm and aren't painful to use. When used strictly for exfoliating, this is a 5 star product.

This is a nice and good product. It does what it should do, clear dead skin cells

Wood split/cracked after only two uses. Would not lather up with a bar of soap because of the rubber bumps which hurt!
