For the price, I am amazed at the quality, the ease of assembly, and the packaging. I was not expecting much for this price but went for it because it had way better reviews from customers than other elipticals. So far, very sturdy, no squeaks. Very impressed.
My order arrived faster than expected. After the very easy assembly, I immediately got to working out. It is very sturdy, and it allows for customization with its magnetic which grants variation with resistance training. The hand grip which is connected to the heart rate system, is comfortable and allows for more stability than one would have any other product. Furthermore, beginning the exercise is easy and comfortable due to the step-thru-frame design that enables more fluid motion and improves the quality of the exercise. Personally, I find it to be a great machine!
Ordered it for myself couple weeks before Christmas. Said it wouldn't arrive till Dec 28th but surprised to find it on my door step a week after I ordered it. My son Inlaw just put it together for me. It was missing one of the flat washers for the foot placement. Lol he had put the handle bars out like monkey bars! My abs my daughter had a good laugh. I tried it for few min. Its a bit rocky so not sure if needs adjustment: not as smooth as the gym elliptical but then again this isn't four thousand dollar product: Im sure Ill enjoy it: as a cancer patient and with Covid I haven't been to the gym in 10 months! I like the look of it. It doesn't take up lots of space. So far Im giving it a four star but will see how it does once I start working out on it for a month or so
Gave this 4 Star's due to the assembly instructions weren't easy to follow for the average person. Luckily my husband is a Steel fabricator and does these types of things for a living. He put it together in less than 30 minutes. Other than that it's a wonderful elliptical for any person to get into shape.
I have used the Body Champ elliptical trainer for four weeks now and tracked over 70 miles so far. Based on a few other reviews, I was initially concerned with how well it would work but so far I am generally pleased with the results, especially for such low priced equipment. It's compact, fits perfectly in our spare bedroom and can easily be moved out of the way for storage. Assembly was not difficult. It took about three hours, but I also took time to read through instructions and even took a few breaks. A few reviews mention their machine wobbles. Actually I find it to be fairly stable for such a light machine. It's important to sufficiently tighten down all bolts in your final step of assembly. A few people indicate that operation of the machine was not very smooth. True it has a shorter stride than other machines so it might not be as comfortable for taller individuals or those with a long stride, however for me the operation was fine. It provides a good workout and meets my expectation for smooth and quiet operation. Also some indicated that over time their machine would develop squeaks. Initially I noticed where the upper handles did develop an annoying squeak. This was easily resolved by adding an additional washer to each of the bolts connecting the upright handlebars in order to tighten them more securely. Body Champ should really correct this since it was an easy fix. Also during assembly I applied additional general purpose grease on contact points that came prelubricated. This should help keep the machine running smooth and minimize squeaks. After using it for a while I find that periodic checking and tightening bolts is required to help resolve squeaks and clicks as some bolts tend to loosen with use. The console is basic but is convenient for holding a phone or tablet, and it tracks basic metrics including time, speed, distance and can measure pulse. It comes with cheap heavy duty AAA batteries. Toss them and use good quality alkaline batteries instead. Unfortunately the machine does not come with a cup holder which would be handy while exercising. All things considered, I am satisfied and would purchase it again, especially for the price. Not sure how long it will last but so far I am hoping to keep this equipment in my workout routine for some time.
The pros: quite, low impact, price, compact, easy assembly The cons: slips on carpet, not a 16 in. stride more of a 13 in., not a smooth stride Overall, for a compact home elliptical it is a decent one. If you're looking for a gym type elliptical, this is not for you.
it does get the job done though in my opinion the pedals don't turn smoothly. if you go fast they kinda do but if you want to slow down for a break you're better off just stopping for the break as if you go slow you feel a resistance and like a slight bump and my resistance is on 0. I don't really really recommend if you have knee problems as it strains me a bit on my knees like I said it feels like it has a resistance even on 0. it was easy to assemble and it's not required to be connected to anything.
so first off putting this thing together it was the most annoying thing ever. So if you live alone best of luck. Also some pieces feel very high-quality when others do not. So I'm not really sure how long this will last. Also it has high resistance even when on the low setting . it's going to be a serious work out. lol Also I noticed that the top has more movement and with the weight than the bottom so it does feel a little wobbly when you're using it. idk kinda feel insure about this machine
Terrible. Took 2 hours to assemble. Doesn't glide properly. Not even sure how to explain it, when you try to rotate the petals they get stuck and don't circulate properly. Now I have to disassemble and send back. Decided to just join a gym. This is NOT worth the stress. Don't waste your money or more importantly your time.
This elliptical looks cute, but I have been unable to get it put together. Believe it or not, I was able to do most of the steps that involved, connecting internal wires by myself, but got stuck assembling it on a very easy part. There seems to be some reason why the handles will not slide on to the main post. Needless to say I have not gotten to use it yet.
