I love this! I wasn't sure what to expect but it's actually really sturdy and works great. for the price, I thought it would be cheaply made but it's not.. it feels like the ones you use at the gym. definitely recommend! I put this together myself before my husband got home.. he weighs 175 and was able to do every workout without any issues or it tipping over... just make sure you put it together right and tight.
I put it together alone in 1 hour 25 minutes with breaks for a phone call and flipping over the sides of my Corey Hart and a-ha records. I did not use the tool provided. I uses a socket wrench and a pair of pliers. One of the easier pieces of exercise equipment I have put together. I am 220 pounds and it stayed rock solid when used.
Great piece of equipment, great workout. Relatively easy to assemble. The only problem was that a support brace was defective. It was replaced painlessly by contacting the manufacturer.
Really happy with this purchase. The assembly took a little longer than expected but worth the time and money.
I'm a big guy and it's sturdy enough to do what needs to be done. Love this piece...great addition to my home gym!
Great value. We keep it in the living room.
Good equipment. Better to have a extra person to help put it together. Instructions are helpful. Equipment not good for a person above 200lbs. Sand bags help brings balance to the equipment.
Sturdy for the most part. The pull up Handles had uneven screw holes so one side I was able to bolt down, the other is loose. Not a big deal.
Good for the price but, the quality is reflective of the price. I only weigh 175 and when I do pull-ups, the power tower feels as though it's going to turn over on me. I added a 60lb punching bag to the other end and that somewhat holds it down. Other than the balance issue, it's good. Not sure if someone much heavier than me would be safe on it without adding weight to the other end when doing pull-ups. For the price, I'd recommend though.
Total junk. I oniy ordered this model because the one I really wanted (Proform 10) had a 30 day waiting list. Spent 2 hours putting this together only to realize the entire gym is uneven and misaligned. I unscrewed everything to make sure it wasn't my fault-same result. The gym is flat out poorly designed. I will return this item ans ask the manager to reimburse my 2.5 hours I spent putting this together. I charged $1,000/hour for my time in my line of work, so a $2,500 reimbursment will work.
