I like this device. It allows you to use your own body weight to strengthen arms and core...without stress on the back! This is affordable- reasonable to assemble and strong in construction.
I love this tower. Super strong. The only problem I had with assembly was lining the slots of upper part to attach to the lower section. It is a little tight. But it worked out. I would suggest not tightening up each section until it is almost fully assembled. You need a little movement as you put it together. But, this is a super, add on to a home gym. So ,any uses. It is strong. Sturdy. A I LOVE IT!!!!!!!
Great value for the price - You can use this machine for about 6 different exercises - I've seen the same type on Amazon, Ebay, Dicks Sporting , and this machine is more robust, solid and steady as well as very well priced than any others that I have researched - Use a Gym mat, makes it even more sturdy.
Very sturdy, I'm 5'8 150lbs but I can see this supporting a much heavier person. I prefer this model over others simply because everything faces the same direction so it's great on space too.
I ordered a few weeks ago. Came on time. Assembly was fairly easy. It did have a little wobble to it, but I bought a door shim kit for $3.00 from Lowes, and slid one under back leg. Some people just want to complain, I just want to exercise, and this unit works just fine with my pull up revolution. I bought this model because all exercises are done from the front, which saves on space, because a lot of us have concerns about space in our homes. The price is very well, I used to sell similar equipment a few years ago, and they sold for $250.00 and up, so I certainly jumped on the $119.00 plus free shipping. I only gave it a four because of the spacing for inner grip is narrow for me , and is not adjustable. Not sure if changeable by design. Great machine otherwise!!
The little handles which you hold when doing ab work keep coming loose. Other than that great product. Good buy
Needs two pliers. and a cross screwdriver. Not too hard to follow instructions, not too heavy. Building it was day 1 of workout. all the parts were there, even had extra washers at the end. Decorative sewing of the pads is wavy and not good, but the pads work fine - just look cheap. They ARE cheap, so that's not a defect. :)
For the price, this is a steal. Is it perfect and industrial strength? NO, but it is also less than $150 so what do you expect? I am a BIG dude, I weigh about 255 lbs, so I am pushing the max weight on this thing every time I step on it. And thus far, it is holding me without even remotely feeling unstable or unsafe to use. For that, I say THUMBS UP. It is a tiny bit wobbly but I rest it on 1/2 inch exercise mats to give it slip resistance so it holds up fine. There was one hole that was not completely drilled straight, so I had to hammer in the screw before being able to fully tighten it which was frustrating but again, LESS THAN $150!! For the price, it definitely cannot be beat. In the pictures, you will see the unit with 50 lbs sand buckets dangling off each arm and the ease of storage in my tiny little studio apartment.
I love the power tower I use at the gym so when Covid hit last spring and everything shut down, I searched and searched for one for my home. Everything on this tower seems to be in the wrong place. Cushioned back is to high, arm holds are in the wrong place, and it does not support me at all when doing an ab workout (at least not like others I've used) Strain is put on my neck and back. I am 5'4". I would return it if I could but i have tried lots of different ways to fix/adjust for my body. Wasted purchase.
MISSING the Bottom support beam. Which is literally the first thing to set up. I AM HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED by that. You would think they'd double check to make sure every piece is in the box. HOW HARD CAN THAT BE ?? I would give it zero stars if i could.
