Quiet, powerful beautiful machine! I was apprehensive about assembly but it was very simple within an hour I had finished, every bolt is labeled and tools are included! Extremely satisfied great addition to my home gym...YouTube has an assembly video
does what it's supposed to. it's nothing fancy, but for the price it works well. the heart monitor doesn't work and when I tried to contact the customer service number it goes to voicemail and you never get a call back. so if you get it with anything missing or broken you should probably just take it to the store and get your money back. the heart thing doesn't really bother us see we just kept it.
this is a great machine love it and its well worth the money and did not take long to put together actually my 16 year old grandson assembled it so that lets you know how easy it was it gives you a workout as well and you cant go wrong with this purchase
We had no problems with assembly. And it was just what we wanted. Mine has no noise or problems with tilting. It is bigger than we thought but that was a plus making it more solid. Its only been a week but can't complain.
I received my BRT-5118 Elliptical on 7 June 2021. It took me about 2-hrs to assemble, but there were no problems. First, I set everything out on the floor after removing the packing material. Then, following the instructions in the owner's manual, I had it assembled in about 2-hrs. I was pleasantly surprised that the owner's manual stated the weight limit for the machine was 300-lbs, as I weigh 245-lbs. The machine was packaged really well for shipment, and there were no damaged or missing parts. It seems sturdy enough for me. After assembly, I discovered 2-problems, one of which was NOT attributed to the machine itself. (1) I could not find the owner's manual online. Yes, I have the printed copy. But, as a habit, I download pdf manuals for all my equipment when possible. (2) I bought the 3-year Protection Plan at the same time I purchased the machine. To my surprise, the Protection Plan, backed by Allstate, started a week before I received my machine. I'm in the process of getting that resolved. They asked me to send a copy of the "Notice of Delivery" email" from Walmart for verification.
While not overly expensive, this just feels pretty cheap to me. It was not difficult to assemble, but some of the directions are wrong (i.e. saying some parts are preassembled when they are not). Assembly is not quick. So don't plan on getting on this thing right after it arrives. It took about two hours total to get this thing together- it probably could be done quicker if you are so inclined to move fast. Once assembled make sure everything is tight. Even if tight some things will never be firmly in place (i.e., my seat moves a little no matter how much I try to secure it). Although this is called a 3 in 1, IMO it is not- the bike feature is not different enough for me to call it 2 types of bikes. Also while using the bike the pedals are small and i have to position my feet so they don't hit the elliptical bars in front of them. While not a big deal, its something I have to be mindful to do. The elliptical part works ok, but compared to the one I use at the gym- its very basic. And I wish the pedals for the elliptical were postitioned slightly differently. Overall this machine is just OK. For me it was only purchased as my gym is closed due to COVID right now. Once I can go back to my regular gym, I don't really see using this much other than if there is bad weather that I don't want to drive in.
it works but has some flaws. the front part that the bar attaches to came damaged. it's dented so the bar can't sit all the way in on that, so I can't put the screw in on that side. so it's a little unstable. we have to be careful when use the elliptical part otherwise it falls over. it was also missing some of the smaller pieces so it's quite loud after a few minutes... things start banging together. but overall it's usable.
If I could give 0 stars I definitely would. It came out of the box broken. The wheel was busted. And you can't really use a bike with a broken wheel. And there were screws and washers missing. It's a very small setup, so if you are tall or big don't waste your money!
I was highly anticipating this delivery for my mother on Mother's Day. I am extremely disappointed because the package was badly damaged upon arrival and parts appear to be missing. I'm going to return the product and exchange it, then I can give it a new rating.
My husband took 2 hours to.assemble , the chair is wiggly even it was tighten . Wish the chair is adjustable so me and my kids can reach it will biking . When biking the 2 handrail to use for elliptic bike is annoying , squeaky and uncomfortable the pedals ! If only I can return it I would !
