100th Day Thermometers

Michelle September 3, 2017

These durable thermometers are great for elementary and middle school students to use when measuring temperature, especially since they go from below 0 to above 100 degrees Celsius. I have also used them for 100th day of school activities when measuring ice, cool water, room temp. air, hand temp., boiling water, and steam. For the elementary grades, I recommend coloring in the below zero areas with blue sharpie, so they do not get confused with below 10 degrees and above 10 degrees or even covering up the Fahrenheit side with masking tape to only measure in one scale.

Disappointing

sam February 9, 2013

i bought this product to be used in our science experiments which included comparing temperatures of various materials .in the pack there were ten thermometers but each one read a slightly different temperature ranging between 15-23 degrees C. which is frustrating and inaccurate since you want them to have the same reading so students can make correct conclusions. disappointing!

Poor Quality

Elementary Science Teacher September 10, 2016

These thermometers do not measure temps equal (about a five degree range) and the alcohol separates easily into bubble.

Hopeless.

Ms H July 31, 2016

Apparently it's simultaneously 16° and 24° on my desk. I'm not sure how I'm supposed to have my students do a science experiment where they compare outdoor temperatures between sun and shade when the thermometer is utterly unable to give them any data. Useless rubbish!
