Is very Good
My husband loves this cake only problem I can't get it in Queens Ny only out of state individual slice.
I bought this Bon Appétit Banana Bread from Walmart because I was in a hurry and thought, “How bad can it be?” The answer: it depends on how emotionally attached you are to bananas. First, let's address the elephant in the package. The label proudly displays three beautiful, golden bananas. The actual loaf appears to have met a banana once… across a crowded parking lot. The texture is meh… Dry… Very dry. Every bite feels like the bread is trying to absorb moisture from your mouth to improve its own situation. Then there are the mysterious dark specks. They're presumably nuts. They contribute a delightful game of “Will this bite taste like walnuts or bananas or existential regret?” Flavor-wise, it's pleasant enough if your expectations are calibrated somewhere between “fresh homemade banana bread” and “the cardboard sleeve from a banana shipment.” There's a faint whisper of banana that arrives late to the party, waves politely, and leaves before dessert. To be fair, for a prepackaged snack that has likely traveled farther than I have this year, it is edible. It's just the culinary equivalent of someone describing a vacation using only the airport gift shop. Would I buy it again? Probably. But only because Walmart keeps putting it in that dangerous aisle where hunger defeats good judgment. Final Verdict: Not bad enough to throw away. Not good enough to brag about. If homemade banana bread is a standing ovation, this is polite applause from someone checking their watch. 🍌
