You literally taste the bonfire! This coffee is cozy, full bodies and smooth! My absolute favorite!

I am a dark roast girl. Anything smoky or has a tobacco flavor is my jam! dark roast lovers need to try this one. Smooth, flavorful and very fresh as always. I love the OR and WA coffees.

I used this for a latte and it was delicious, perfect for a snowy morning with a good book! The chocolate came through, mildly, which was perfect because I didn't want too much. I loved the smokiness as I don't get that often with coffee but love I the smokiness. It reminds me of drinking a really good stout beer.

I am hitting the jackpot this month with my samples. Didn't taste any tobacco but hooo my god, was this a dark roast. This would be perfect with cream and sugar but tastes just as good on its own. I brewed this in a French press and bonfire is right. This is a smoky, chocolate blend. Sits well.

Brewed daily on a v60. Smoke and Merlot notes hit you strongly drinking black, the addition of the cream rounds it out with that chocolatey finish. Some might find it too dark for a morning cup, but lovers of dark roasts will be delighted by the decadently smooth richness. I bumped one notch coarser on my burr grinder and it decreased a bit of the heaviness. Even my non-coffee snob husband declared this is his favorite so far, we will definitely buy again.

I really enjoyed this coffee in the Moccamaster brewer. I found it to be dark enough, rick and I know the packaging has nothing to do with the taste, but it was beautiful and I enjoyed it that much more. I do recommend trying this one.

Wildly acidic for a coffee as dark as this is. Thin mouthfeel, biting acidity, smokiness. The only chocolate I get is that weird feeling in the back of your throat after you swallow a sip. Definitely improved by your creamer of choice, but not the coffee for me.

The aroma hinted that this was going to be bitter so ground it coarse for french press at 4 min. It was still quite harsh. For folks who take cream, this is probably nice but for folks who enjoy drinking light roasts black, this guy may miss the mark.

I feel bad rating something so low but I have to be honest, one of the worst coffees I have gotten on bean box. So bitter and acidic. I gave the rest of my bag away
