Bonide Captain Jack's 16 oz Insecticidal Soap, Ready-to-Use Spray Multi-Purpose Insect Control

This was the ONLY thing that finally took out the mealybugs on my pothos. Neem oil, alcohol, drenching in Lysol spray, don't bother. Mealies pour it over their dinner and lap it up. The insecticidal soap finally ended their reign of terror, wish I'd grabbed it sooner.

I was struggling with leafminer tunnels all over my vegetable plants and nothing seemed to work until I tried this. Within a short time of using it, the 'map like' trails stopped spreading to new leaves. I love that it's easy to apply and safe for organic gardening. If you're seeing those squiggly white lines on your leaves, don't wait this stuff works like a charm!

So I bought some petunias on clearance. Soon it became apparent that they were nothing more than big salads for some hungry caterpillars! I sprayed the plants thoroughly with this product. After a couple applications, I see no more evidence of caterpillars or bud worms. My plants have completely rebounded to flourishing and blossoming again. I appreciate that this product is safe and odorless, and there appears to be no problem with using it in very hot weather.

Works great, I grow organically and this product is organic compliant. It even helps deter those dreadful hornworms. I was starting to see holes on leaves of tomato plant; even saw a small grasshopper and one tiny caterpillar. Tell tale tiny black specks on planter cover. Worked immediately. It just rained so I will reapply once rainy period is over.

If we do not saturate edible plants with insect repellant spray, we cannot enjoy eating our garden grown edibles. If we do nothing, then we still do not enjoy eating the yield from our labor and attention. However, this product is not toxic and makes fruits and veggies in my garden safer to eat minus the demolished leaves bugs cause.

I have dozens of houseplants and recently I noticed small white bugs in the soil and leaves of one of my plants. Really had no idea what type of insect had invaded my plant but thought I'd trying using this insecticide before throwing the plant away. I followed directions and within a week and several usages the bugs are gone. It did not damage my plant and in fact the plant looks great. I like that this product is organic, is easy to use, no mixing or measuring involved, and is in a spray delivery system. In the spring I plan to use this outdoors to since it's safe for most plants, shrubs and veggie plants. Great product, proven to be quite effective.

This spray is, in a word, excellent. It easily killed the herds of spotted lanternfly that have infested my poplar trees (at least the ones low enough that I could reach with the spray). It seemed to last a while as well because I didn't see any come back to the areas I sprayed (unlike when I used just normal spray insecticide - like "Raid"). I also saw a lot of slugs crawling on my plants and deck and gave it a try and sprayed them with this - they almost immediately were affected and fell off of branches and I haven't seen them back. Works great for a relatively "harmless" (at least to us!) insecticide.

The insecticide kills a wide variety of insects and can be used on multiple plants, but the important thing is that it is organic. So you have the assurance that your plants will receive the best, you will take control of insects and some diseases as well. It worked very well for me and my plant is in excellent condition and without insects.

okay so this stuff absolutely does work!! and i love it BUT the reason for the poor tating is because you have to use it till it runs off.... and for those of us with big gardens.... this lasted me two days. my garden isnt huge but its bigger then the average persons and unfortunately it doesnt last. for the price it should absolutely be a bigger bottle): now if i could find this in concentrate fornthe same price or if it were cheaper it would be 5/5.

I have ordered several of these bottles from you 2 different sizes. the bottle I just received was placed in a plastic bag, tied shut with a knot. I still have bottle and baggy, have not untied. Yet it appears, the bottle is missing 2 inches of the product. I shouldn't say I shined a light through it.It's missing two inches, either the bottle leaked or this was a used item that was returned, which I seem to be getting a lot of that stuff here lately. This was a product straight from the store. So I would like to think it was not used. It just leaked one point in time. I would like a full refund.
