BonJour Coffee 8 Cup French Press in Blue

I'd say I'm your average coffee drinker. I have my coffee maker at home, used to own a Keurig (switched to the coffee maker last year, much happier), and I drink coffee consistently 1-2 times per day. After testing one of the BonJour French Presses, I decided to purchase this one for two reasons: 1. It's incredibly easy to use, and easy to clean. (I had never used a French Press prior to trying the other one from BonJour - very easy and intuitive!) 2. The gorgeous pruple-fushia color really adds that extra pop that makes this stand out wherever you place it. This size is perfect for me, as well. It also retains heat for quite a while, much longer than I expected, so if you just want to have a cup of coffee now, and then another (or two) later, you can do it. And I keep mine at my desk, which makes it even more convenient.

I would've given 5 stars had the color actually been copper. I spent $30 on this one rather than $15 on a different one simply because I loved the copper that the online photo advertises. It is actually an orange-y-gold color. I am considering paying even more money to have it powder coated a different color... any color other than the ugliest color I could've gotten. Very disappointed in this. Im uploading a photo of what I received. That being said, the function of the press is great. It is my first one and this press has made me a french press "lifer".
