Although I can usually find Guava Jelly online, I'm not sure why Guava jam is so difficult to find here in the U.S., so when I saw this listed on the Walmart site, I had to try it. I prefer the texture and spreadability of jam over jelly, so I was very glad to find this. This jam is decadently delicious. It's imbued with the wonderful flavor of guava and doesn't taste modified or artificial at all. It tastes perfectly sweet and natural.
This is my second time trying this brand of guava preserves. .. The first jar was in a gift basket from my son at Christmas. That jar tasted ok but not much guava flavor. . My traditional brand that I always used no longer makes guava jelly so I thought that I would try this brand one more time since it was ok enough the 1st try and it is much better than no guava jelly at all. . Must say that this 2nd jar has a really good quava taste. .. Taste So good to me that I indulged and had 2 biscuits smoothered in guava preserves last night instead of my normal 1 biscuit. . Not sure why the flavor was different between the 2 jars, but based on the awesome guava flavor of this jar I will definately buy more when I run out. . Guava is the only flavor of jelly, jam or preserves that I will eat! .. Ps. if you are like me and can not make a good homemade biscuit a Must Try is Great Value frozen buttermilk biscuits, they are awesome, closest to homemade flavor. So so good with a little butter and some guava preserves.
You need to carry this product in your Woodbury super Walmart . You only have blueberry and blackberry flavors. I may have to shop where I can get it. I spend about $500 per grocery visit
Absolutely the best flavored preserves! Its uniqueness catches new tasters by surprise. We love strawberry, most of the berries but I am a sucker for this jam!
This is an absolutely wonderful preserve with a great taste and I was very happy to see the care that was taken when shipping the package. each jar was individually wrapped in a cardboard wrapper and then bubble wrap, so they arrived perfectly fine. but if you want a guava preserve, I definitely recommend this. it is very very good
I'm a gauva taste fan. Grew up with Gauva trees in the field, both the light green and the white. So I know what a gauva taste is to be. We made our own jelllies with full gauva taste. I have found it very difficult to find a quality gauva jelly, trying ever brand i could find and this one to be the best and the second one is certainly in distance behind If you like the taste of gauva, then give this one a try; little pricey but still holds the number one for me. Great sandwich with peanut butter and gauva. Also, good on waffles and pancakes.
Delicious, perfect consistency.
So, these preserves are great stuff but you need to find somewhere other than Walmart to buy it. They ship it to you rather than stock it in stores and they don't know how to ship things effectively or consistently. I just received a jar that was put in a much larger box without any padding or any other packaging at all. The lid apparently came off in transit allowing the preserves to be splattered all over the insides of the box. Pretty lousy packaging for sure, maybe a loose lid and definitely some pretty rough treatment in transit. People like Amazon don't do stuff like this.
I bought this now 4 different times hoping that one of them would come and the seal wouldn't be broke. This is my last order. Never again! I'm spending my money and throwing it down the drain. Every single time I have this delivered the seal was broken. I bought this brand and flavor at Costco last year and haven't been able to find it so I was hoping this would be something to enjoy. But several orders in and to boot Walmart makes you bring the jam back to the store to confirm it's damaged. Horrible process definitely not great customer service. They should be paying me at this point! 4x$6= $24 I've never actually returned them to the store since it's about a 30 min drive for me - hence the reason I have things delivered. Pretty disappointing.
The product is great nearly downside is you guys cancel the order anytime you feel like canceling it then you get a stupid message saying cancel due to system error it happens two or three times a week and your AI system that you have such a big one
