Love Bonnie plants %26 love Basil even more. It is such a great companion to our other garden plants. This one is has been in the warm house waiting out bad weather for over a week %26 is perky %26 healthy. We even snipped a few leaves to go with pasta, the other night. Always happy to have some Basil ready for use.
I was pleasantly surprised with the healthy bushy plants I picked up. They have continued to survive thru 2 transplants which I am grateful for. The leaves were lush and deep green and I honestly don't think I couldve chosen better myself which is a awesome surprise for me to say. I now have them planted in the tomatoe plant containers as the perfect companion plants as their pungent scent is very undesirable to most pests therefore stopping a pest issue right off. I definitely recommend this item and Walmarts pickup associates quality choice item I didn't even need to get out of my car to buy!
Great choices by picker, solid fast growing plants , after topping and replanting they are doing really well in some ocean forest. I slap these bad bois out on the deck tables and the bugs hate it.
BONNIE USUALLY HAS GOOD PLANTS. I BOUGHT THIS LAST YEAR AND IT GREW VERY NICELY. I JUST PLANTED, SO IT'S ONLY HAD A DAY. I DON'T THINK IT GREW THAT MUCH YET.
Amazing scent and fresh plant comes in a 4" pot. I was so scared when I received a very light weight sealed bag. the plant was healthy but very dry. I watered it and put it in the sun and it perked right up. I also watered one and kept it inside. Within 3 days it had started to loose its color. These are outside plants. After 3 days of watering I transfered these to a larger pot with potting soil for vegetables and a pot with drain holes. These will get dark and rotten leaves quickly if you over water and the roots can't breath. I can't wait to add these to pasta, pizza, mozzarella and tomato with balsamic vinegar and salads. Yum!¡
The plant could have been a little bigger. I went to the grocery store earlier today and they had a lot nicer one for the same price. Some of the leaves on this one are starting to turn and had some dead ones underneath. But it's still a nice plant
It's too gangly. It should have been, and I will need to do, pinched back. Many of the leaves will need to be discarded. The root system is great! Basil is hardy and will rebound with care. As with most plants, it's best to select your plants yourself.
Plant is extremely small (about 2 inches tall, too limp to tell) and arrived laying totally limp in a completely dry container. Doubtful that it will survive. I wish I was able to do my own shopping, as if this is all that was avaliable, I would have gone elsewhere.
I have many plants and both of these plants continued to deteriorate from day one. I put them together and they did not seem happy. The smaller one died first but the e larger one was soon after. Caution if you buy plants in the fall, even in Florida. I waited until better weather to try plants AGAIN.
Dead on arrival, this was delivered in very poor condition. I had it delivered since I cannot get to the store, Walmart wants me to return it to the store that I can't get to in order to receive a refund. Very disappointing experience. I hope Walmart will make this right and either replace or refund.
