Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
I got about a 5" piece of wood, big around as a quarter and 3 twigs to try to grow roots on. I would not consider this as a bonsai cutting.

must have been the soil!
they died I did like you said and they died I waited till they rooted for a long time lots and lots of roots I'm sure it was my soil or my climate it's not your fault whatsoever! I probably need to school myself more on cuttings and perhaps should have bought a plant instead of cuttings! was so looking forward to my Willows I had gotten a gold one too from you and as I stated they died as soon as I put them in soil so it has to be the soil! thanks! poor
intially thsy all did well. i ordered numerous types of willows. i followed all directions and read extensive articles and utube videos. Since they were doung well I bought a lot of tools, wire, special soil erc. i lost all but 2 and they are starting to drop leaves and have mealy bugs which i am treating. So more money. All willows were frin CZ grain from Walmart. I am hoping to return some items. i probably unvested about 400 plus dollars. I am extremely disappointed.
