Says locking mechanism when you put lid / shredder on But nothing locks down. So to carry you have handle with shredder and then you carry basket with other hand . Would be nice if top clicked ( locked) to basket. Easier to carry where needed. But it shreds well.

I love this little shredder, it can shred 8 pages at a time, my old shredder could only shred 2 pages at a time, I did a lot of shredding because I had so much things that needed shredding... It worked great and it shreds pages in small pieces.

Give me 4 months for a review. It looks good. Thought it was going to be taller. But this is me not checking the sizes. It looked way bigger in the picture.

Shredder worked well. I wish though that directions had said that you need to shift the papers, (normal size papers, 8x11) more to the left to make them fit right. There is a certain part on the right that sort of slides down making it hard to put papers straight in, the left side doesn't have it. That's why I said you need to shift papers more to the left. Hope that makes sense. Otherwise after figuring that out, it works very well.

Its a pretty decent shredder for small shred jobs. My only problem is the overheating. I got it to shred a whole bunch of documents with sensitive information. It overheated after every 5-10 mins of shredding and then I had to wait over 30 mins for it to cool down. It was definitely not productive. Its great if you're not shredding a whole lot.

I like that it is compact however after shredding 15 sheets of paper it heats up and won't shred any more sheets of paper. I have to wait at least 25 minutes until I can start shredding. I have school papers, home office, and important documents that need to be shredded and it does get frustrating.

I felt that the machine didn't draw the paper in for shredding unless pushed fairly hard. Postcard paper seemed to do better than an envelope. Very top heavy over a rather flimsy basket.

Had it a little over a month and it is already broken. It makes noise but won't accept paper. At first I really liked it. Now it is just an expensive piece of garbage. The thing is , this was only being used at home to shred unwanted mail, etc. Not being used in a business daily use setting. I never buy the extended warranty because I do not intend to package it and send it to the factory for repairs. The fact is they should not be allowed to sell junk!

I ordered the Bonsaii 8-Sheet Cross Cut Paper Shredded for Home Office Use. Read the manual cover-to-cover and followed the instructions/recommendation to the letter. Used it for about 4 hours the first day. It over-heated twice, so following as per the instructions, I let it cool down for an hour each time. Never shredded more than 4 to 6 sheets each time. Finally, while shredding 5 sheets, the red light came on and it just stopped. After an hour of cooling, it didn't even come on again. No problem getting a refund, but I won't buy another one.

A piece of junk. The switch was not attached to shredder I clipped it on. Does not shred 6 sheets much less 8. Worked. for awhile but now it won't shred 1 piece of paper and only goes in reverse. Would not recommend.
