It might be fine for an eight yr. old, but the small size makes it useless for me. And no, I am not a large woman, 5'4" , 115 lbs. Plus, the material itself (stuffing) is very hard.

My order came today and I am so excited because it came so early. But this is not memory foam! The chair pad is hard and not comfortable to sit on. The back support is small than I expected and the garter attached would not go through my chair and not enough to stretch to fit. It should have been open like a belt and should have with velcro so it can adjust to any chair size. I have to return this product.
