Boom Blox Steven Spielberg (Wii)

My 11-yr-old had this game on her Christmas list. It has quickly become a family favorite. Our other kids are 6 and 9. My husband and I even play after the kids go to bed!

This is the best game for the wii I have ever played. Great casual party game.

We rented this game this past summer to see if we liked it. It was so much fun we got it for my step-daughter for Christmas. We could sit and play it for hours. I highly recommend it.

This game is one of those games that the whole family likes, it is challenging and fun. All the modes are great. If you are one of those fighting game fans this wouldn't be your best choice, but stadegy lovers would love this game.

This game is great! Especially in a group of 3-4 people, but the single-player stuff is pretty good too. The physics are quite realistic and the goofy little animals only add to the fun. Plus, it's $10 less than most Wii games. Tough to beat this one!

I bought this for my boys for Christmas, but every night since we got it in the mail mom and dad have been up after bedtime playing. It is alot of fun, so many levels. You clear one thing and there is more and more to do. We have played single and multi player and it keeps your attention. Nothing like blowing up and knocking stuff over. I am sure my boys will love that!

I was very surprised that I love the fact that this Wii game requires the particpants to actually think about how they will beat the challenge to achieve a medal before you can move to the next level. I was a litttle frustrated at first but found that I am more competitive and want to win the Gold medal. I expect nothing less from Steven Spielberg/ Great games.

Boom Blox is a great game for the whole family. It mainly is a puzzle game, but has multiple modes to choose from, even a create mode which you unlock items through the explore and adventure modes to use in. My friend and I played the co-op mode, which consists of both of you playing as a team completing incresingly difficult stages, which in turn unlock new areas to play in. The stages rang from using the "Wiimote" as a gun shooting blocks out of the air to throwing baseballs at blocks to score points. There are also fun versus modes and the explore and adventure modes are great as well. But the best way to play this game is with a friend or two. A tip, use quick flicks of the wrist instead of your whole arm movement for throwing puzzles. This will cut back on some of the pain for long gaming sessions.

If you like building blocks and knocking them down, this is for you! Great party game; anyone can pick up the remote and play instantly. Family friendly, overall, a great game!
