A lot of protein drinks taste pretty fake but the chocolate flavor is actually pretty tasty. I like that it contains 30 grand of protein to help keep me full. It is low in calories, only 160 per 11 ounce container. The texture of the drink is nice too, not too thick or thin. I don't have these types of drink often, but when I do, I will reach for Boost Glucose Control Max Protein drink in rich chocolate again.

The Nestle Boost Glucose Control Max shakes definitely fit the bill! The flavor is really good (considering it's a nutritional drink), the convenience is outstanding, and the nutritional value/protein:carb ration is superb! The flavor isn't too sweet, due to the low sugar content, but still has a taste similar to a traditional milkshake. It is absolutely best to drink it very cold. I was impressed that the Boost Max didn't cause my blood sugars to spike and appreciate the way it satisfies my appetite for hours. I would definitely recommend! It was thick and creamy and pretty filling. I love that it's loaded with so many nutrients but wish the calorie and fat /cholesterol counts were lower.

I understand that the purpose of these drinks it less about flavor and more about nutrients, but this really lacks any kind of flavor that would keep me drinking it. On the plus side, it is low in sugar and fat and high in protein. But there are better tasting products that deliver similar nutrients.

I personally didn't like the taste of this at all and it has basically the same nutrition content as one that I love so I would never choose to purchase this one unless I absolutely had to. The packaging is very nice and vibrant with nutrition facts clearly viable and easy to read. It is nice to see another 30g on the go protein shake hit the market!
