My kid loves these. She is a adhd kid that takes medicine that makes her not hungry. These have helped with keeping her weight where it needs to be. She drinks it in the morning with her meds.
My son love it
Excellent flavor - everyone in our family from young to almost 70 really like this drink. It's well balanced nutrition with a lot packed into a small 8 ounce serving. My husband was losing too much weight and we needed to put that to a halt, and this has helped tremendously.
I can only say great things about this product. It provides great nutrition and my son loves the taste. He looks forward to having it every night. I felt so bad when I ran out that I now put it on automatic reorder.
I purchased the BOOST Kid Essentials for a family member who has severe sensitivities to artificial sweeteners. These are delicious and have been working out great! Will definitely be purchasing again! Great price as well!
My granddaughter loves it - fast shipping exceeded my expectations
My son HATES the Vanilla Vortex (and now i am afraid to order the Chocolate Craze). We are now stuck with about 15 8oz drinks that I have to put enough chocolate in to equal 1/2 the vanilla so he can kinda drink it w/o crying! BRING BACK THE VERY VANILLA!!
Nestle decided to change the formula for this product. We have been ordering this specific product for years. Now, our order shows up in different packaging and a different formula with no heads-up about the change. Our daughter will not drink it because of what she perceives is a drastic change in flavor. We are stuck with a case that is going to go to waste and have to now make purchases of a more expensive competitors product that she will drink.
Our son has Cystic Fibrosis and has been on this supplement boost 1.5 very vanilla for 6 plus years. This is what helps maintain his nutrition as CF children and young adults struggle to maintain their weight. When weight is compromised due to low nutrition, their lungs suffer the consequences. So here we are due to Nestle wanting to be "healthy" with this new "improved formula" which many of the CF kids dislike like now he is loosing 2,000 calories a day.He loathes this new formula Vanilla Vortex .People who utilize these type of supplements dont need" healthier" options, they need something that is palatable, especially children. So her we are trying to frantically find something else he will drink. You screwed up Nestle in this mothers eyes.
Why change the Very Vanilla to Vanilla Vortex?? It was fine the way it was! Now, my kiddo who has ASD/Down syndrome (who doesn't eat solid foods and gets all nutrition thru Boost) HATES the way it tastes. Refuses to drink it, and I've yet to find anything else he'll drink (if you know kids with ASD, change usually is not a good thing) On day 3 of him refusing food, except for 1 kind of smoothie (which he can't live off of) If you're going to introduce a new flavor, maybe at least give people the option of the old one as well?
