I had no problem setting up the phone. It arrived right on time for a birthday celebration. Price is reasonable but be careful to read what service does the phone work with.
This is a nice phone with plenty of memory on it for pictures and apps. I highly recommend buying it from the store, rather than, ordering it online. shippers have a bad habit of not scanning the phone, to show it was bought so it makes it impossible to register your phone to your carrier.
I needed to purchase a new pre paid phone for us on my Verizon pre paid account. Online it does not state that the phone could be set up at Verizon. I proceeded to Verizon store only to find out by going to verizon customer service I could of kept the phone I just returned if someone was trained or advised that Verizon could set it up as a prepaid account and were affiliated with Boost. Communications from Walmart and Verizon could of been more clear on steps to be taken to use phone. Now planning to reorder the same phone again and proceed to Verizon for set up. I am not tech savvy and this is very confusing for us seniors. No other issues for me. Great delivery support, and follow up communications on delivery. Return was handled professionally,, friendly staff, and credits promptly issued . Thanks for trying
Purchased as a Gift for my other half, %26 he was surprised %26 grateful being it was what he wanted- I noticed it was at a lesser price, so I had to get it- we recently received it so he is still getting it together, he said he like the size, color %26 all the features- 2 points for me.
Everything was fine with the phone except for they gave me the wrong SIM card so I haven't been able to use the phone at all and I paid my phone bill and I got a phone but I can't use it cuz I don't have a SIM card for it because they sent me the wrong SIM card
The phone is nice, the quality is alright but I've had the phone for about a week barely downloaded anything and the phone was already freezing up, taking forever to load things, I would get missed calls and never hear it ringing or buzzing, it would go straight to voicemail.
Apparently the device is shipped to the customer. Requiring the customer to have to go to the store to have the phone unlocked. After speaking with Boost mobile, looking to swap out devices (as a long standing customer) I was informed that the Walmart store apparently skipped over unlocking the device prior to shipping to the consumer. I have also repeatedly tried contacting the store where this phone was purchased from online and it seems that NOBODY works in the electronics department in the West Mifflin Pa store location. The phone just continuously rings. Highly irritated and inconvenienced by this purchase.
For EVERY call it connects <50% of the time. I usually need to use FB Messenger to make a call. The phone does not add live up to it's specs when it comes to performance!
i bought one of these back in july and transfered everything over to it everything went smooth but i lost it and ordered a new one (exact same phone) and samsung totally screwed up forcing people to have to have a samsung account on it with a working phone number before they can even get into the stupid thing which not everybody needs or wants any service or unneeded crap gettin forced on us i am very peeved off now im stuck with a phone i cant even use because of samsungs forced account
Nothing at all wrong with the cell phone.. But a LOT wrong with Boost! Beware!! They couldn't activate the phone after charging me the 1 month of service but would NOT give me my money back! They said that was their policy and the phone activation was still pending! How could it be pending after 5 days and your representative told me to take the phone back! They would not give me my money back!!
