It's not too sweet, and it goes down easy whether you're drinking it cold or over ice. It's filling, gives a good boost of energy, and works great as a quick meal replacement. Overall, it's a dependable, tasty option when you need something fast and satisfying. These are ready-to-drink, so you don't mix powder into water/milk — just shake (if it's a bottle) and drink cold or chilled. There's no prep required. Refrigeration isn't required before opening, but chilling usually improves flavor. Unopened bottles/cartons have a long shelf life — generally about 12–18 months from manufacture. Always check the “use by” date on the package. The chocolate flavor I can described as moderately sweet and creamy, similar to a chocolate milkshake but less sugary than desserts. I find it pleasant for a nutrition drink. I personally don't have an aftertaste.

Been drinkin it for years now,I love it except for one little thing for me it's got alittle more chocolate in it for me,so I just add some whole mike to it and it's perfect, waittin for a cherry flavor to come out. Have a good and bless day. God Bless!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect meal replacement or nutrition supplement, especially for those who need to gain weight after an illness, as it's loaded with 360 calories, 4g fiber, and 14g protein.Added bonus that it's gluten free, kosher, and has no lactose. Nice creamy chocolate flavor made even better when I used it instead of milk to make shakes for my husband who recently had neck surgery & was on a soft foods diet due to swallowing issues. Definitely have this on my shopping list until he's back on a normal diet.

I like the Boost Plus so much that I actually have to limit how many I have each day. I've tried several brands with the many variations offered. I used the Boost Original for a long time. Five bottles or more a day provides 100% daily protein. I kept losing weight. I don't care for the Boost High Protein flavor. After I had my first Boost Plus, I was hooked! Flavor and consistency when you drink it very cold does match the claim of "nutritional shake".

If I had one bad thing to say it would be to not expect a big chocolate taste. It was a little bland- like a watered down chocolate milk.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was specifically interested in trying this out with my 12 year old grandson who is autistic. He is very picky about what he eats and doesn't consume fruits or vegetables. Well if you count French fries I guess he consumes potatoes. And he loves the chocolate boosts!! The only issue is that they fill him up and he won't eat if he's drank a lot of it. We've been giving him a smaller portion to drink so that he is able to eat too. Definitely a win in our household!!
