I like it for on the go when I don't have time to make or go out to lunch. It's healthy and fills me up without all of the calories of fast food. It's healthy and has 14 g of protein and 26 vitamins and minerals. I don't feel guilty drinking this meal/treat.

These are ready-to-drink, so you don't mix powder into water/milk — just shake (if it's a bottle) and drink cold or chilled. There's no prep required. Refrigeration isn't required before opening, but chilling usually improves flavor. Unopened bottles/cartons have a long shelf life — generally about 12–18 months from manufacture. Always check the “use by” date on the package. The chocolate flavor I can described as moderately sweet and creamy, similar to a chocolate milkshake but less sugary than desserts. I've seen the commercials and like the way it's packaged with "splashing chocolate" on the carton. It is thick and creamy, just like a milkshake, and is not gritty. It has plenty of fat, calories, carbs and protein; I drink it before a long hike, and I feel full and energetic for many hours. I will now purchase this regularly, and it will be my daily morning enjoyment.

Turns out, that if your daughter is running late for work, it's the perfect thing to take on the go! Got her through to lunch break with plenty of energy left to spare. So, I grabbed a case so I could try it myself. Agreed! And chocolate, who doesn't love chocolate?!

If I had one bad thing to say it would be to not expect a big chocolate taste. It was a little bland- like a watered down chocolate milk.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was specifically interested in trying this out with my 12 year old grandson who is autistic. He is very picky about what he eats and doesn't consume fruits or vegetables. Well if you count French fries I guess he consumes potatoes. And he loves the chocolate boosts!! The only issue is that they fill him up and he won't eat if he's drank a lot of it. We've been giving him a smaller portion to drink so that he is able to eat too. Definitely a win in our household!!
