High-calorie weight-gain drink --- mixed and ready-to-drink right out of the fridge. Roughly $2.70 for 530 calories; beats Ensure and Nutrament (in the caloric sense); higher protein too; easy breakfast and easy after-gym drink; no scooping/mixing/lumps. I'm not overjoyed about the sugar content but then again, one can of Nutrament has similar sugar as well. For me the grab-and-drink is important (even though powders may have a better profile I'm not going to prepare them twice-a-day). I gave "4 Stars" on "Texture" because it is pretty thick, but they had to squeeze the 530 calories in somehow. And I like Jello Pudding paks too so I can't complain too much about the thickness. By the way, all the flavors are fine.
The strawberry very high calorie version is delicious. It's like a milkshake. Price per calorie is also cheaper than the regular calorie version. Good protein and calories plus vitamins and minerals, a great way to help maintain or gain weight. The packaging is also great, the box design flattens instead of taking up extra space in the garbage like a plastic bottle.
Getting it delivered on time would be nice. Not having it delivered to my building's lobby instead of my door, as instructed, would be nicer. Not searching for it, and having the maintenance lady bring it to me would be even nicer! I love the product, as it's actually filling, but I'll be ordering from Amazon so it will come to my DOOR.
This is the best flavored boost compared to many other high calorie drinks. I looked for high calorie not only high protein drinks and I disliked the taste of most. This is a high calorie and it fills you up. I'm trying to gain my weight back and it is working but slow. I drink 3-4 bottles a day. Ready to order another case!!!
I'm trying to gain weight as I lost 20lbs due to stress recently and these have been helping. The only thing that sucks is the price. I wish they were cheaper as I don't make very much money and this takes up a lot of my budget. It is also a 24 pack instead of a 30 pack which also sucks. :( I keep gaining weight but then I'll forget to drink the Boost a bunch of times and my weight will go back down again so be consistent! By the way, if you are thinking about getting the chocolate flavor just know that chocolate naturally has caffeine in it and can give those sensitive to caffeine anxiety (I am one of those people so I know, I tried it). If u really really want the chocolate one then just make sure to drink it slower, like drink here and there for about 1-2 hours. Don't drink it in 5 minutes like I did. anywho tootles! Oh wait here's a joke for u: two whales walk into a bar. The first whale says “ooOOOOOooooo” then the second whale goes “Frank… ur drunk”
My bed fast in-home resident loves the taste, %26 will drink it when they won't eat anything else. It has minerals Gives them not only a midday energy boost, but enough high protein to give them a leg up until they regain their appetite. Thanks Wal*️⃣mart!
Boost very high calories Very Vanilla flavor tastes great. It is excellent for anyone who is in need of gaining weight while it keeps you strong because of the amount of protein. . I have been taking it a few times already, to help me gain a number of pounds that I've lost and it hasn't disappoint me yet. But sadly the price keeps going up almost every two weeks it seems, becoming kind of impossible to continue purchasing it, because it is a huge part of the money I have, to buy food. This product, which has been a necessity for a lot of consumers who are in need of help with their health, has become a luxury product lately. And that is overwhelmingly unfortunate. .
I am a recovering cancer patient and unable to eat solid food. So, part of my liquid diet includes VHCB nutritional drinks. At first, the taste was not to my liking but I've grown accustomed to the taste. I buy vanilla flavored because I mix other ingredients (ie, flavored syrups, fresh fruit, spices, etc) into the mix for improved taste and to increase the calories of my smoothies. Three downsides: the drinks give me gas, they are not always in stock and are costly. This is why I rated the product with 4 stars. On the positive side, I was at 100 lbs and with consistent use of VHCB I was able to reach 120 lbs and have maintained this weight. I tried other nutritional drinks, but the VHCB worked best for me.
This is an extremely thick drink. It's so much thicker than a shake. It's very hard to drink. The sugar intake is extremely high also. I got this product because I lost 14 pounds quickly and I needed to gain weight back. It's quite expensive. The taste is ok.
These boost with extra calories the very high calorie count. It was kind of like oh man I've had like the ones that are like boost plus or ensure plus and those ones are fine. They're just they taste like the original they're fine but these ones it was like it was like drinking straight lard or something like left a coding in your mouth. It was really gross and like I need the higher calorie count right now so if they're so nasty, I can't drink enough of them then they're kind of pointless anyway anyways so
