The stools look fantastic and really did meet my expectations! You just will need to allow for a little time to put them together. The hidden screws are tedious to screw in because they are on the underside of the chair and the angle makes for slow progress. I didn't mind this extra time, because this design was done so you couldn't see the hardware and just makes them more beautiful.
The stool is beautiful! An affordable, sturdy white stool with a rush seat that gives a great tropical look...perfect for my Florida condo. Arrived in 3 days with no shipping charges. Came in great condition....no nicks, no missing parts, good paint job, beautiful rush seat. Husband assembled the stools in 20 minutes each. LOVE THEM!
The stools are very nice. .Match our island to a T.. The Allen wrench sent does not work well to put stools together. .Needed to use our own wrenches
It does take time to put the stools together due to the larger size screws. The angle is what makes it tedious. But once assembled, they look really nice
Having purchased a craft table that is 36 inches tall I needed stools that would allow someone to sit with their knees under the table while working. These attractive stools are a perfect fit and comfortable as well. The price was excellent and allowed me to purchase these quality utems. Assembly was a cinch and I chose to glue the stools as well as use the screws provided.
I was looking all over for affordable backless barstools for the tight space in my kitchen. These fit the bill and they are very attractive. But assembly was a pain. I've assembled everything from bookcases to entire desks, but this was tough. The instructions are difficult to decipher, with tiny fuzzy illustrations and no words. I had to improvise a bit with the supplies, since the legs really didn't fit using the washers provided. One of the screws was stripped -- luckily I keep a supply of screws just for this reason and I was able to finish assembly, but it shouldn't have been as difficult as it was. Once I figured out the problems on the 1st stool, I sailed through on the others, but it was still annoying. The stools are a tiny bit wobbly, but not enough to return them. They look great, so I'm satisfied, but for anyone without assembly experience, watch out!
Getting the stools put together was harder than it should have been, but finished product was very nice. They are sturdy and look great.
We recently bought 2 of these in white. In putting them together 1 went OK but the other I had to take it apart and reassemble it because it wouldn't sit on all 4 legs properly,it was like 1 leg was shorter than the others.I put it back together again but he same problem. I called customer service and they sent a replacement at no charge and I didn't have to return the defective one. We realized we needed another stool and because the other situation was handled well, we ordered a 3rd stool.
They look nice and for the price point, they're fine. The only negative, and unfortunately a big one, is that the "rushes" break off and stick you.....ouch! If they had put a thick clear cover over them, it would solve the problem.
I ordered two and managed to get one together. What a nightmare! Getting the allen wrench in to attach the underseat brace was next to impossible. The rush seat was thin, very easy to push apart and see frame beneath. Felt flimsy. I took them back. You will, too, if you don't burn it first in frustration.
