Works as described. Not sure how effective this would be for a square or rectangular border because there are not enough corner pieces in 1 package. For my circular border, it worked perfectly. Not a high end look or anything because this is plastic after all. But once the plants and mulch were all in place it looked very nice. Tip for installing: wet the ground before pounding into place. Applying too much pressure will break the pieces. Used a rubber mallet and it worked well. Overall a very good product that works as described.

The best and most attractive product I found online for straight lines AND curves for edging in landscaping projects. It served our purposes beautifully as no digging was required; hammered in easily with a rubber mallet. Kit includes several corner joiners which we needed for our project. Tough, heavy-duty material in 6" segments that you attach together easily this will last for years and years to come.

Like what I had bought before. Sturdy and durable. Great buy.

Durable and easy installation

This is an item that I have purchased for use at our current and our previous house. The sections can slip in by hand into soft soil, yet sturdy enough to withstand use with a mallet tap in not-so-soft ground. They are high enough that mulch doesn't slip across it after a strong rain. Because I've used them before I know the color stays the same and doesn't fade over time. Doesn't get brittle or crack either.

If you have rocky soil or lots of roots it might be tough. My soil is sandy and it pounded in no problem. But it is plastic. I used a screwdriver to clear a trench of small stones before pounding. I just needed about 15 feet to keep mulch from washing up on our front walk.

I have purchased these in the past and really like for the purpose they provide. I have not received this particular order yet. 4 stars only because pieces are a bit difficult to put together due to plastic material; i suggest wearing gardening gloves to protect your hands when putting together as the plastic may cut your hands or arms if pieces slip and slide while putting together.
