Born Simple Teriyaki Chicken Rice Bowl, 11 oz Shelf-Stable Box

I love when it fast, healthy, and tasty. Literally this little box has it all. I will buy more and keep them in my pantry for last minute meals or when on the go. The flavor was so good ! I didn't expect to love it as much. This was sent to me in exchange for my honest opinion. But this is great.

I was expecting a larger meal but this is small and honestly pocket sized I think it's a tasty option and has a lot of protein and nutrients needed for a well balanced meal. I like that it's small it's easy to take with or give to someone in need. I enjoyed the flavor and how flavor packed it was to be such a smaller sized meal.

I was chosen to randomly try this if I reviewed it. I wasn't sure what to expect with this. It came in a tiny box. I love teriyaki chicken and this was packed with flavor and protein. A few minutes in the microwave and I had a quick lunch. All in all I would have it again. For sure

received a sample of the Born Simple Chicken Bowl and was excited to give it a try. I love that it is quick to make, high in protein, and convenient when you are busy. Unfortunately the flavor and texture did not work for me. I am giving it three stars because I appreciate the chance to sample it, but it is not something I would purchase for myself.

I liked the packaging, which was easy to throw in my bag and take to work with me. I am not a huge fan of packaged food such as this, but it was great in a pinch when work was busy and I didn't have time to grab anything else. The flavor was good and I like that it has a good amount of protein.

I tried this when I needed a quick lunch between meetings and I love that it's easy to prepare and convenient and shelf stable, but I don't think I'd grab for it otherwise. It's hearty, a little tangy, a little sweet from the coconut, but it isn't a taste that I'll actively seek out.

This is not it what you expect when you hear rice bowl. This product comes in a box that you then add to a bowl and microwave. It's premixed with liquid and did not have the same results as what you would with homemade rice or frozen rice dinners. It may be good for someone looking for quick meals but there are other things out there that may be more appealing. Positives about this is that it's small enough to be carried on the go and to work if you needed to. This product was given to me free for review by Bzzzagent.

I will start off by saying the packaging was easy to open and had stove or microwave options for heating. Overall this meal would be a quick fix meal however I couldn't get over the smell and the texture of the mushiness. Not a very pleasant meal I would ever fully eat or recommend to anyone.

When you first see the packaging it comes across as food you save for the apocalypse. It's a small box. It is marketed as shelf stable, which it 100 percent is. However, I did not have high hopes. I wish I could say I was surprised but I am not. They did make this easy to handle, and comes it small and space saving packaging…. However it looks like dog food and the taste is not much better. There are much better shelf stable options. This one was not for me.

I followed the directions by removing contents from box and microwaving to my desired temp. Very simple. However, from the time I opened the packaging it had a bad chemical smell. After heating, I mixed it up a bit. Took a taste. You have got to be kidding! AWFUL! I wouldn't feed it to a pet. I'll never buy this again.
