[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The benchmark dishwasher is the first Bosch appliance we have purchased. Our dishes are clean, you have more flexibility to place larger items and the ability to put plastic containers anywhere in the dishwasher is clutch without fear of melting or warping. The dishwasher is so quiet I forget its running, thank you for the front timer.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has to be the Best Dishwasher I have ever Seen! It is Super Fast and so quiet that I can Sleep Peacefully next to it. The racks are So easy to move back and forth, raise up and down with so much room that I could easily wash aall of my Dishes at once! That's why I call it a Super Washer!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The app is great and add more funtionality. Wish that you could use the controls for a rinse cycle instead of app only. Very nice to have a soft water dispenser built into the unit along with low level warnings. The LED lights are very nice to have. Overall, the best dishwasher that I have every owned.
In March 2026 I had to replace my dishwasher which was less than 5 years old. I did extensive research and made the decision to purchase the BOSCH BENCHMARK DISHWASHER model SHP9PCM5N. It has been wonderful. It is so quiet that you can stand next to it and not know it is running. Everything is squeaky clean, no bending over to put silverware in a big basket, and you can put plastic containers in the lower level without fear of melting. I wish I had purchased it 5 years ago!
We moved in to a new constuction home that came with upgraded KitchenAide appliances. We immediately replaced the dishwasher with Bosch. It cleans well and is so quiet. You do have to do research to figure out how to make choices in washing, particularly which settings do and don't provide the dry feature.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bosch Benchmark is superior to any other dishwasher in so many ways. It has adjustable racks! It has an adjustable sprayer! It is completely quiet, is programmable, and the phone app is so easy to use. AND... it has a light! No one else has all the features. It is such a pleasure to use, it's beautiful, and don't forget that light! I love it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had dishwashers since I was 10. I'm now 76 and have been through a bunch of them. They all worked the same basically. I would rinse the dishes, put them into the machine and run it. It was time for a new dishwasher and I was going crazy choosing one this time around. Reading reiew after review etc. Finally fed up, I decided go with this simply because ratings said it was the best out there. Well, it IS. I followed the instructions and did NOT rinse the dirty dishes. I just put the into the machine UNRINSED and put it on the "AUTO" setting and let it run. EVERYTHING is CLEAN with NO RINSING. I will not use Rinse Aid and I use only detergents pods that are rated as safe on the EWG. So, the dished and glassed DO come out with some water drops here and there on the "NORMAL" dry cycle. That's ok for me. There IS a "Sanitize" cycle that really dries them and a "Chrystal Dry" dry cycle that leaves them spotless, bug again, I don't need that and would rather save energy and the life of the machine. One star off for the pathetic wifi nonsense that must be used for certain functions like a "Rinse Only" Cycle. That said, this is the BEST Dishwasher I have ever owned. Cleans dirty UNRINSED dishes with caked on gook perfectly. EXTREMELY quiet. I love that I can use it with "SAFE" detergents and NO Rinse Aid. VERY happy with this purchase,
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love our dishwasher! Two things could be improved. 1) the top drawer (silverware) handle does not stay attached. I had to glue it in place. Not sure why it needs to be Removable. 2) the door feels cheep because it's a little flexible. Seems it could be made stronger. I still think it washed dishes 10/10 and love the way the racks are oriented and how smooth they roll.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just had this dishwasher installed and it performs great. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is you can hear it running if your very close to the machine. My last two Bosch dishwashers I couldn't hear them if i was standing right in front of them. I'd recommend this machine to anyone with no hesitation what so ever. Dishes come out clean and dry.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shelves have a leanring curve but once you're there, this thing is next level. Cleans all stuck food, dries crystal clear. Insanely quiet. I'm still not sure the premium I paid for the benchmark vs the 800 was worth it, but I am happy with how much cleaner my dishes are now. I'm a little nervous about the door. The latch sounds and feels cheap. Hopefully I'm wrong.
