Bosch HCP30E52UC Hoods/Ventilation|Chimneys Stainless Steel

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The vent hood looks great, works great (the two lights light up the cooktop surface perfectly) and was easy to install. Because of our back wall not going to the ceiling, the extending and the adjustable portion of the hood allows the vent to work well at the desired height. The attached photo (with flash) makes the hood a different shade but it is indeed a perfect stainless steel.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far so good. Have used for 2 months now; ducted to the outside and the 300 CFM is adequate. There are three speeds to the fan and we use the highest the most. Will caution that my contractor was surprised the opening to duct out was higher than he anticipated; mentioning this for anyone doing a remodel to ensure their contractor understands this before closing up walls in case any framing needs to be adjusted. We are happy with our purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first hood we have that really works for us in the kitchen. It is out of the way of my hitting my head. The multi-speed fan works well to remove the steam and smell from around the stove. The light is a true worklight for the stove.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hood is great. Works great, looks great. Simple to operate, clean lines. We chose it because of it's simplicity. However, the contractor said it took them 5 hours to install it!! Seriously, they cracked a tile on the backsplash putting it in. And they are a really good Remodeling company with a great reputation. I felt badly for them because if I had known it was going to cause them that much trouble, I would've picked a different hood. Glad I wasn't there to see the frustration and difficulty. The one thing I would say, is that it only has two speeds for the fan: Off and On. Nothing in between...what's up with that?
