Bought this Bosch Rotary Hammer drill to replace a Milwaukee hammer drill. So far, I have been nothing but 100% happy with it. First, I love the feel versus the Milwaukee, second it delivers more blows in the drilling process and finally it is more versatile to get into tight locations. So far, I have used it four time and all with 100% success. I highly recommend this tool to contractors and active DIY homeowners.
Great tool - perfect for small/midsized hammer drilling - and the hammer only switch works great for removing old tile - plenty of power, and compact and light enough it doesn't wear you out - ergonomic and we'll balanced, dampens the impact vibrations well - very pleased w/ the performance
Needed a small roto hammer for drilling concrete screws. This has turned out to be the perfect tool for me. It drills really fast and goes right through aggregate like it wasn't even there. As an added bonus for me I can also use it as a chipping hammer. For what I paid for this it is a killer deal. I highly recommend it.
I've rented large hammers to remove floor tile and purchased this to take down a old brick and cinder block fireplace. Teamed up with a 3/4 and 2 1/2 flat cheisle this tool more then handled the job. Has all the features you need, quick change bits, shock apsorbing handle, large trigger, variable speed. Bought reconditioned and not a mark on the tool or carrying case. For the price can't go wrong. Most of my tools are cordless but considering how long you are chiseling I figured corded was the best option here.
I have used a Bosch rotary hammer for ever. This is my third one, since I replace them about every ten years or so. I was recommended to me by the tool repair show that I use a long time ago. Bosch builds great tools, especially this one. I have never needed a SDS Max, so the SDS Plus works for all my jobs and projects. Gave my old one to my helper.
I bought this factory reconditioned but it arrived from Bosch like new, in a like new hard case. I've used it for what I'd call medium duty chipping and scraping for about 5 hours, and have been very happy with performance. No overheating, plenty of power for my applications, easy to adjust and light enough for extended use. Great value purchase.
Finally a rotohammer with some power. I bought this rotor-hammer to bust up a concrete basketball goal foundation after trying to drill holes in it with my hand drill sized hammer drill. Although it was still a bit more difficult to break up the concrete than it would have been with a larger rotohammer, this one still hund in there and did the job. This dis a great well-balanced rotohammer for medium to heavy concrete drilling and some moderate chiseling.
Reconditioned tool looked new upon arrival. Anti-vibration feature worked really well when using tool to chip a concrete wall. Impressed with power to weight ratio. Really happy with this purchase.
I prefer to do repairs myself. I will spend money on tools instead of labor costs if it makes sense. This is a great drill for a lot of different jobs. I would recommend owning this drill.
Smooth operation. Powerful motor. Depth guage failed to stay in place, so drill began to drill holes deeper than intended. Did not realize it came w only quick change chuck that requires special bits; not all Bosch bits will fit in it. Would opt for standard 3 jaw chuck.
