Bosch 800 Series 22 cu ft High-Efficiency Front Load Washing Machine with Home Connect

The various settings guarantee a good outcome for our loads of wash, and the extra settings for stains and extra rinse are also useful. All in all, the only complaint we might have is that the internet settings do not automatically take out our wash and transfer it to the dryer; we still have to do that by hand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This washer is great. It has so many cycles and does a great job on dirty clothes. Unlike the awful Dryer, it is easy to maintain.

I've owned the older version of this for nearly 20 years and loved it. I was really nervous to replace it because I loved my old one so much, but goodness, Bosch hit it out of the park again! Don't let the cu ft capacity fool you...this cleans more thoroughly with more load than all of it's full size competitors here in the US. I LOVE that Home Connect sends notifications to my phone that the load is ready. I also love all the choices for load settings, the fancy water hoses with leak sensors, and the choice for stacking. It's also doing a great job cleaning, even when on super fast 15 or 30 minute cycle.

Please refer to my review of our 800 series dryer. The washer also part of the set we bought for our second story laundry. It is so quiet we had to go look at the washer to see if was running. It is the wet half of the perfect compact laundry that is situated in a closet. After a lot of research before our purchase, we confident we made the correct choice. We are very happy with our Bosch 800 series washer and dryer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With several other Bosch appliances already in our home, and having grown up with them in Germany, I knew it was time to continue to add to our Bosch appliance collection here in the U.S. When it came time to look for a new washer and dryer we immediately went to Bosch for the 800 series washer and dryer. While I was convinced the machine was great, I could not locate I was unable to pin down whether or not the compact washer suitable for a family of 4, mom, dad, and two teens? Safe to say it is indeed very adequate in size to take care of all the laundry with ease. While the capacity is not as large as standard full size machines, a considerable amount of laundry fits comfortably in the wash drum. Moreover, with the option of a 30 min. and 15 min, wash cycle for lightly worn clothing, we have found that more laundry can be done in less time than standard full-size machines. This is an excellent machine. The unit is very quiet, no vibration, efficient, and it provides a bit more room due to its smaller footprint. This is certainly another winning Bosch product.

Installation was relatively easy (remember to remove the transportation bolts) and other than us wishing it could hold at least 25% more space, we could not be happier with your purchase. Be sure to leave door open to avoid musky odors.

The washer is quiet, is vibration free, and is 2x as fast in the washer cycle time compared to our old machine. This machine is not hard on the clothing and offers a significant amount of preset menus that cover all of our washing needs. Environmentally the machine uses a fraction of the water that our old machine demanded. One addition I would like to see added is an internal light source just as our dryer offers. Avery useful feature and could added in a water tight configuration.

Needless to say there was not a lot of room for a washer and dryer. Since we were long time users of Bosch appliances and had a Bosch washer in the basement for 17 years and still going strong, we looked at purchasing Bosch again. We decided on the Bosch 800 series washer and separate dryer for several reasons. The washer and dryer were compact and the dryer DID NOT need venting outside. The non-venting feature saved us thousands of dollars. Now that the laundry is installed we can't be more happy with the variety of functions of both washer and dryer. Our cloths and linens come out smelling fresh and clean every time. We are so glad we made the Bosch choice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Every appliance we have is a Bosch, and we've been alway very happy with the quality and performance. This washer replaces a very old Bosch washing maching and it is great. However, I am a iPhone user, and the Home Connect app DOES NOT work with iPhones... so, I have a wifi-enabled appliance that I cannot use as intended. Bosch told me over a month ago they will release an update for the app, but thus far it hasn't happened. Other than this (and I specifically purchased this washer because of the wifi capability), the appliance is great.
