BOSCH B11CB81SSS Stainless Steel

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My new Bosch fridge is top notch. My veggies and fruit last much longer than my previous brand. The freezer is quick to cool and the drawers are a nice size. It is also surprisingly quiet. I would like to suggest adding another shelf adjustment on the door for the second shelf which is too close to the top shelf and another position for the second shelf in the interior if one chooses not to use the bottle shelf.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was replacing a SubZero frig which would have cost me more to fix than the new Bosch. I bought it as it was the perfect size. But I love it! Never have I had a frig that kept such a perfect temp. It definitely keeps produce longer. The ice maker is great also. Keep it up Bosch. (My negative comment would be the length of time it took to arrive. It was back ordered and then delayed!).

My husband and I built a 502 sq. ft house and wanted small, well designed, quiet and energy efficient appliances. The Bosch 24" refrigerator is all these things. We are very glad be bought it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I went from a French door refrigerator to this Bosch 24” refrigerator and was very skeptical of it being functional for my husband and I. I opted for the ice maker because we live 365 days a year in a warm climate. The ice maker works awesome dumping enough ice to keep us happy! There is plenty of room for all of our food needs. The only thing I would change, is the refrigerator door shelves - I would like them to redesign the upper 2 shelves so they are adjustable. The 2 top door shelves are too close together to fit tall skinny bottles. This is the only reason I rated this refrigerator as “4 Stars “. I love my refrigerator!!

Fantastic refrigerator, tall and skinny. Just what we wanted. Switching the door opening to the other side was a real pain though, get it delivered with the door the way you want it.

OK refrigerator, Looked at several other manufacturers but I wanted the 24" not made in China. However, the overall feel is still very lightweight, the door is underweight not very sturdy. Seems to keep temperature very well. Major complaint NO Freezer Light!, for the cost this unit should have a light in the freezer. Literature simply says "Bright All LED Lighting Shines Throughout the Entire Interior" I am I missing something!!!

As others have stated we have issues with the height of some typical items not fitting in this fridge including a gallon of milk. We also have the same issue with bad tasting/chemical tasting ice after months of use. Worst problem we have is the noise. We have a regular "bubbling" noise coming from our machine that I would not consider typical operating noise. It sounds like refrigerant is constantly moving around. We had a tech visit and they claimed it was normal due to the new type of R600a refrigeerant and the placement of the condenser. This has been really dissapointing. Others have noted how quiet this machine is so I feel like our machine must be defective. The tech did not agree or offer any kind of repair option. Its too bad because the machine is nice looking and fits our kitchen well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased the Bosch B11CB81SSS primarily based on it's physical configuration and ice maker. The refrigerator has been installed for a month and we have yet to be able to use the ice produced, due to the chemical smell and taste. In addition, the Bosch refrigerator was more than twice as expensive as most normal refrigerators, yet has no light in the freezer section and no drawer glides on any of the drawers, with the exception of the vegetable crisper. As a result, when opening drawers they frequently fall out, particularly the bottom freezer drawer. It's quite disapointing to purchase a product that aspires to be a highend product that lacks attention to basic functional details and fails to deliver product that requires extensive flushing, prior to comsumer use.

We've had this refrigerator for less than 4 months, and we've already had to have it serviced twice. We've woke up two seperate times to find the top part of the refrigerator to be 65 degrees and the lower parts to be 55 degrees. The first tech said we need to replace the entire blower, and are currently waiting on the replacement. Beyond just the mechanical parts of the fridge, the design leaves much to be desired. The adjustable shelves only have a few places that it can be adjusted to, which makes it impossible to stand a quart of milk up in the fridge and still have enough usable space for things. The ice maker also never seems to realize that the ice tray is full and we find ice cubes falling out all over the freezer.
