When we sold our home, the buyer wanted the refrigerator included in the sale and we completely understood why. We were heartbroken to part with it, but that says everything about the quality of this refrigerator. As soon as we moved into our new home, we didn't even consider another brand; we bought the exact same model again. This refrigerator keeps food fresh much longer, the lighting is beautiful and evenly distributed, and the layout makes storage easy and practical. The temperature consistency, ice maker reliability, and solid craftsmanship are outstanding. Bosch truly delivers on both design and function. It's elegant, efficient, and built to last. The layout makes it easy to store big grocery runs, and produce really does stay fresh longer. I like the internal water dispenser and ice maker since they keep the doors looking clean. Runs quietly, cools evenly, and feels very solid. A little pricey, but worth it for the quality and reliability.

It looks gorgeous, it has more capacity that what I even imagined and literally can hold a grocery store in it all while running quietly. The Home Connect features are great as they help me to keep the family alert on how long they keep doors open, if they don't pull them up or when the ice bin is full. I actually had one of the freezer drawers full from ice made with this fridge within one day. It made three full buckets of ice so I may never have to buy it from the store again. Thank you Bosch for making the most important appliance in my home the best appliance in my home!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Bosch 500 French door Standard Depth fridge to replace an old side by fridge. I have to say this fridge is better than expected. First of all it looks great and has a full 26 cu ft of storage which is a big increase from a standard side by side. That is a lot of storage space for anything you can think of including large party trays. The ice maker is located at the top left of the the refrigerator section but is not intrusive. The ice storage area is a bit smaller than other brands, but this produces lots of ice and very quickly so no need to worry. The entire back is a beautiful stainless steel while the crisper drawers are well label for the fruit or vegetable settings. There is a a hands free bottle filler in with the water and ice dispenser area that is supplied water through Bosch's industry-leading water filter, UltraClarityPro, which removes an astonishing >99.9% of sediments that may be found in your water, including harsh elements like chlorine and chloramine. There is also the Home Connect app which helps you manage the fridge remotely and also tells you if the door was left open and let you set the fridge to vacation mode, passover mode, or even turn the ice maker off. In order to get it into my kitchen, I had to remove the doors which was surprisingly easy with the directions provided and the wheels on the bottom helps me easily move it into place. I honestly cannot say enough great things about this product. I am very happy with my first Bosch appliance and I will definitely buy more in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased my new Bosch refrigerator to replace a builder grade (cheap) brand that was in Mt house when I bought it. I thought I knew what I wanted when I went to my local appliance store where I buy all my appliances I quickly learned that wasn't want I should buy. The owner pointed me to the Bosch brand and showed my all the great features on each model. I ended up purchasing the best one he offered and am not sorry. This refrigerator works wonderfully, has ample storage space, and the features of ice and water in the door are so handy. The interior is nice with adjustable shelves, the drawers all roll smoothly, and the freezer is very organized. Much better than any appliance I have previously owned. I am looking forward to many years of trouble free use. Hopefully it will be the last refrigerator I will have to buy. I have learned that buying quality it more important than less expensive that will be troublesome or need replaced in a few years.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very good refridgerator although a few issues. The information display only shows temperature setting with no actual real time temperature. Even my 15 year old Samsung had this feature. The right side door requires you to actually push it in all the way to close completely; otherwise if you just casually fling it close and walk away, it will still be ajar, sigh. The positive is the icemaker and filter system is top notch. I own Bosch Washer / Dryer combo that is over a dozen years old and they have been fantastic so I'm hoping this unit is the same.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Its been 20 years with a side by side and we needed a new fridge! Hubby who cooks often wanted a more spacious inside for large and wide pans so he was much interested in choosing this new Bosch. This fits the bill and it very large with adjustable shelves and super smooth siding drawers. He also wanted Stainless Steel which I fought on our other 20 years ago. I do really like it, technically it is "fingerless" but clearly there are finger prints and LOTS of smudges. So it requires a wipe down daily. I keep a mirco cloth on the freezer handle just for that. My only other real complaint would be about the ice maker. Twice now, the cubes appear "stuck or frozen" and we've had to unplug the Fridge for 5 minutes to reset. Why does this happen? Are we doing something to cause this? Using too much? Too little? Is it freezing up? We specifically wanted the Bosch for being a reputable brand (plus we have a 20 year old Bosch dishwasher we love!) but mostly to avoid the ice machines issues we know most other appliacnce brands have. What I really do love and have surprised myself is this very large bottom freezer. The drawer slides easily and I can see all my items pretty clearly. Its very differnt than the Side by side! Thank you Bosch, I hope this lasts us another 20 years !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this fridge but what I don't like is the right door does not completely close tight without pushing a little harder and when that happens the air inside the cabin pushes the left door open a little. It's easy for the right door to be left open just a little but enough to allow some of the cold air out and enough to lower the inside temperature . This has happened several times since we've had it and enough times for my wife to remind me to close the door tight. The photo below shows how much it stays open with just minimum effort to close it. The same amount of effort to close the left side of the door closes it securely. My suggestion would be for the alarm to go off when the happens or simply fix the issue.

As other people had stated, the ice maker drips into the top left tray. it maybe is the issue of warm air leaking into the fridge from the ice dispenser. The dispenser door is closed and I had adjusted the left door as high as it is possible but there is still a small space between the rubbe gasket and the ice maker. the fridge just started this after 2 years of service. We had to have the ice maker, control board and one more part replaced almost immediately after the purchase so it is disapointing that now we have to deal with this leak. every 3-4 days the tray is almost full so I have to pour the water out. Did any of the people here with the same iisue got a resolution on this?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The BOSCH 500 Series French Door Bottom Mount Refrigerator needs improvement. First the main refrigerator compartment is dark. Engineers missed a top mount LED to light up the contents. This appears to be the number 1 complaint from other owners as well. Second, the ice compartment melts and drips into the fridge top shelf on the left door. Also, when getting ice a pool of water comes out first. Engineers missed something major that keeps the ice compartment frozen. I believe this will become a bigger issue as time goes on. I do not see any way of fixing this problem and having the fridge less than 1 month now I fret having to deal with this for the life of the fridge. Third, the doors both open when pulling on the right door. This will cause unnecessary wear and tear on the del between the doors. This sela will not last the lifetime of the fridge. Engineering clearly did not think this through. There problems are very disappointing for the expectations we have of Bosch quality and engineering.
