Bosch HDI8056U 4.6 Cu. Ft. Stainless Dual Fuel Slide-in Range

I can actually use all 5 burners which was impossible on my last range and the over top slide in design keeps everything sleek and clean. Oven is also spacious, knocking out big dinners with the multi rack convection feature. Very pleased with this purchase!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were using the range and oven that came with the house when we purchased it. We never had anything with the same quality prrviously. We are in love. The power burner is powerful, the dual fuel is an absolute joy. The flame gets so low that it can melt butter but leave an egg uncooked. It's great. I wish there was a little more space for the mechanicals in back of the range, and my stainless cookwear leaves a silver marking on the cooking greats. Other than those minor annoyances, we would buy it again in a heartbeat.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are really enjoying our new range. Bosch has added flanges on the sides that cover the counter gap which is a grea t improvement, and looks great. Cooking power is awesome, so far we are really happy with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Finally! We love our dual fuel range and the flexibility to cook with gas and bake with electricity. After years of putting up with horrible ceramic top electric ranges, we are finally in a home that has natural gas and we couldn't be happier. The convection bake and roast features produce succulent dinners and crispy and beautiful baked goods. The range is easy to use and a snap to use and looks fantastic in our new kitchen!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Duel Fuel slide-in has many nice features and looks good in my kitchen. I like the clean look and it operates as expected. Here are my quibbles: 1) the stainless steel knobs are handsome, but they mount on stems that are very wiggly, which greatly detracts from the feeling of quality Bosch it reaching for with these non-plastic upgrades. 2) the cooktop is stainless steel rather a more typical enameled surface. While it looks nice clean, a single use of the cooking surface renders it filthy, requiring a wipe down after nearly every use. 3) the touchpad is under-responsive, requiring many second and third attempts to activate buttons. It is not simply due to dirty surface or fingers. This issue was quickly evident even when the oven was newly installed 4) the timer features are irritating to set, and the timer itself has an anemic tone to it. 5) it's only happened once (and I'm praying it won't happen again) but my oven turned off during a bake and flashed a Bosch service number at me a week ago. This warning only lasted a second or so (too short to write down the number or error code) and then disappeared. I've only had this oven for 2 months. Please Bosch, tell me this won't happen again.

I'm very pleased with my new dual fuel slide in range. My favorite feature is the warmer drawer, which was the deciding factor in making this purchase. The only reason I did not give this a five rating is because it's very difficult to get the fingerprints off the stainless steel. I'm constantly working to keep the range looking clean. Otherwise, it's a great product and I'm extremely happy with the purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Bosch oven is fantastic! Not knowing very much about gas ranges, I didn't know to Focus on the BTUs of the different burners. There really are only two burners; the middle and the front right, that provide enough heat to really boil water or cook at a reasonably high temperature. I wish I'd known to explore in greater depth the repercussions of not having enough heat on the range top :-(

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was considering an induction range but decided to stay with the gas dual fuel. Both gas cooktop and electric oven work well. Pros: It fits nicely in the space of my previous range - I like the "lip" on the sides. Top is easy to clean. Indicator shows status of oven preheat. Telescoping rack is great. Cons: Sound of timer is low and very irritating even after I tried adjusting volume. The warming drawer should have a handle so you wouldn't need to push the front of it to open it.

Three months after getting this range, the igniter started having issues one by one. One first failed to detect that it has been ignited, then all five of them keep clicking. Then second, third, and fourth one started having the same isseus, leaving one that worked. Bosch customer service agreed to repair, and the gas range was repaired. One year after it was repaird, it is now started having the same issue. Futher, the design of the range is such that it is extremely difficult to clean.
