[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this dishwasher - Easy to use - consitant results everytime.
This dishwasher is so much better than our old one. We don't even have to wash the plates before we put them in the dishwasher. Just got and love it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced the dishwasher that came with our house with a Bosch dishwasher over 20 years ago. Recently the door latch broke. It was the only thing that had gone wrong with the dishwasher and it had been used daily (sometimes twice a day) for all those years. We could have had the latch fixed but we were curious about what inprovements had been made in the industry. We were so impressed with the features of the new Bosch models...capacity, energy efficiency and ease of loading that we decided to replace our old trusty Bosch. We will never own any other brand of dishwasher.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dishwasher is so quiet I have to make sure the red light is shining on the floor. At first, I thought the extra rack on top was unnecessary. I was wrong. I use the rack every time I run the dishwasher. My only complaint is the narrow rows on the main top rack. The guard gets in the way. I have lowered one of the adjustable sections to use the rack fully. The dishes are squeaky clean.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When looking at custom panel dishwashers your options are somewhat limited so when we moved to our home it had an original European dishwasher that was just outdated. We chose this Bosch and we have been extremely happy with it. The third rack is very handy for utensils, lids for coffee cups, silverware etc. The dishes are spotless every time and is very quiet with a floor light to let you know if it is cleaning or is finished cleaning. My only issue with it and why I didn't give it 5 stars is that unless you use the extended dry there seems to be a lot of water left on the flat surfaces, especially the third rack. When we use the extended dry (addl 25 mins) it is better, not perfect but much better. Having said that I will still buy it again but how by the time we need another that part will be better.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Only reason not 5 stars is the tines don't allow for easy insert of my many fiestware bowls very well. Otherwise it's great.
Not sure if it is the product or the installer but the new diswasher does not go back in the counter flush. It sticks out about 1/2" proud of other cabinets and does not look as nice as the original Bosch.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced a 15 year-old Bosch dishwsher on which the heater gave out. Our repair man told us that soon replacement parts would no longer be available, and recommended not repiaring the unit. We like the new unit which is very quiet and cleans very well. The rack tine arrangments work well in contrast with our Bosch Ascenta experience at our vacaion home. The directions say to use less detergent for soft water, but it is hard to know when the powder is at the lower marks becuase of the angle. We have not found the third (silver) drawer at the top to be useful. We would rather be able to wash tall wine glasses without lowering the middle tray.
I had a great Bosch for 18 years. I didn't think twice - or research - before replacing it with another Bosch. The dishes are so wet, even after hours, that I have to towel dry them. So I googled and saw the hint to select sanitize and extra dry. That helps. A load of dishes takes ALMOST THREE HOURS, which is patently absurd. How much energy is saved when it takes three times as long as the old model?
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very disappointed that even with the extra dry setting, nothing comes out dry. I know the system is not heated but I never expected that nothing is dry. I wish I could return the dishwasher. Big mistake.
