Bosch SHPM65Z55N 500 Series 44 dBa Stainless Built-In Dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had many other brands!!! But I love my new dishwasher from Bosch! I love everything about it. It's quiet and cleans exceptionally well. Love the sanitizing option! Beautiful machine! And the racks are sturdy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We originally went to purchase a GE dishwasher. We were just looking at the other dishwashers. As soon as we opened the door, we could immediately see the difference, in quality. The doors were heavier, and there were way more cleaning jets. So we spent the extra money, and got the Bosch. The installation was pretty easy. Of course my husband did most of the work lol. Our first actual dishwasher run, the dishes came out great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is one of the best cleaning dishwashers I have used, and I have used many different types/brands, etc. Two things that might improve it would be to have a response light to indicate if the start button has been activated. Sometimes I come back to unload and discover that it never started. Also, I would like for the water to heat, as it takes a long time for the water from my water heater to get up to temperature.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've owned a few different dishwashers, including LG and Samsung. None come close to our new one. It washes beautifully, doesn't leave any food behind, it's super quiet, and dries dishes better than any dishwasher we've owned. It was a breeze to install, and maintenance is easy. I pull out the filter about once a week and rinse it out/off. It definitely sterilizes dishes, which is a huge item for me because I'm immunosuppressed and have to be really careful that things are cleaned. The dishwasher dries decently on a basic cycle, but if you click the Auto Air, then once the dishwasher is done drying, it pops the door open a bit and lets the dishes finish air drying. So, when I run it at night, then go to get dishes in the morning, they're all dried perfectly. We definitely recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm really loving my Bosch dishwasher. I had one at my prior home but I was a little hesitant with this purchase because I read a few poor reviews. I'm so glad I decided to go with Bosch. It offers all the features I need - speed wash, half load, auto, heavy, normal, delicate and sanitize. It says "silence plus" and at 44 dBA I don't even hear it running. I love the red light that reflects on the floor that tells me when the load is finished. It's a quality product and I believe it's superior to anything else on the market. My dishes are dry and spotless every time!

I had to download a copy of the Onwers Manual to understand how to program the options, I would recommend a copy be provided with the purchase. Once I had that programming was fairly easy without that it was impossible. I like the Air Dry feature with the new energy efficiency requirements for dishwashers it really is needed otherwise dishes always come out too wet. I would recommend Bosch take a play out of the Apple hand book and make their programming of the options more self intuitive. Too many people will not understand how to work those optional functions and features. Otherwise a very quality machine/

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good afternoon, I replaced a older model dishwasher that was 17 years old repair a couple of times but on its way out. This 500 series Dishwasher does not compare to it predecessor. I have had problems with the buttons for cycles not changing upon selection prior to a year and now after 1 year and half the dishwashing tray does not open to release the dish tab.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While I really love many of the features of this dishwasher, I don't like how many repairs it has needed since I bought it. Now I am forced to get a replacement, and yet my credit with the store is not enough to cover the cost of even the same model series and even a lower series the 300, is out of reach. It is a huge disappointment and I don't have a lot of money and having to spend more is a HUGE PROBLEM for me. The service that I have received from the retailer has been excellent. As I previously stated I can now not afford the additional costs. Sure, I would love to have a benchmark or 800 series dishwasher, alas, not in my budget. Maybe I'll get lucky and your products will go on sale soon.

This is definitely a quiet dishwasher and is energy efficient. However, it has absolutely NO DRYING feature and the auto air setting makes no difference at all. I can run it with auto air in the evening and if I unload the next morning I must have a dishtowel handy, especially for the silverware. We replaced an inexpensive 13 year old contract grade dishwasher and the dishes are no cleaner than before. Very disappointed.
